Sire, the reason why everyone was so hyped up about Generation 2 was to go battle our Red (TPP). Though, if we lose to Red, we would have to go back and battle the Elite Four in order to make him appear again.
 
Might cry if Platinum goes ahead of B/W/W2/B2 this week in releases of Pokemon OSTs.
