Fingers crossed on customization returning. It was my favorite feature in XY.

The one thing I was really surprised by was compatibility with the Generation I Virtual Console games. Hopefully this means the missing stats and values will be randomised instead of a reversion to those simpler times
Oh god, remember the simplification comment? What if they meant the data structure is similar to gen 1,just with the special split in place? Lile EV's and IV's are complete reworked.
Ok guys here's a comparison of the shown Pokémon and Fletchling, they're really totally different:
Different head, different wings, different beak.
Or, you know, they're acknowledging their Chinese fanbase and a large untapped market. There was a petition awhile back to get Nintendo to localize Pokemon in Chinese. I'm not saying a fan petition worked, but I am saying that something highlighted in that petition was very good incentive for Nintendo, and thus they might have already been working on it regardless:Apparently the hotel is based on one in Singapore. Wouldn't be too farfetched, China is notorious for deals were they self insert the country with movies, now its happening for Pokemon? Would suck, and I don't buy it, there is a lot pf Kalos Asthetic to it.
Using Pokémon Bank, you'll be able to transfer Pokémon you've caught in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow into your copy of Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon. Pokémon from Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, and Pokémon Y can also be brought into Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon in the same way.

Only a couple of weeks till the next one. I have a feeling we'll know something soon.So this is definitely Gen VII. Can't see how it wouldn't be, at this stage.
Only question now is what happens to RedHerringarde. Save us, Corocoro?
This also kinda says that the gen I games are only compatible with SM and not XYORAS. More confirmation that they did something with the EV's/IV's?

They highlighted that Gen III and Gen IV was the first time that they were able to communicate with games that were released on different platforms. I doubt they'd have changed the IV/EV structure in Gen VII since that would be a hassle. It would be easier to do what I had suggested when I theorized this and randomly assign IV values based on the Gen I Pokemon's IVs (e.g., an IV of 0 can be 0 or 1 in Gen VII), remove any EVs, and just reassign other values randomly. This also kinda says that the gen I games are only compatible with SM and not XYORAS. Watch Coro-coro just be like "Guess what, just in case you own magazine subscriptions, but not the internet, here's Pokemon Sun and Moon!"Save us Corocoro, you're our only hope.
I'll be so glad if they simplify/remove EVs/IVs. Especially IVs. No more tedious breeding, no more "perfect" Pokemon, no need for hacks and the Pokemon that accompany us throughout the main story will be equally capable of fighting competitively. YES PLEASE.

If one watched the Direct, they already would know it'd be the next gen, since it goes through a thing of showing each game from the start of each gen before stating Sun and Moon.So XYORAS won't be able to directly communicate with SM. If that doesn't confirm Gen VII, then I don't know what does.
