I'm aware of the independents. If there were no scum left then the game would be over. Since the game is not over, that means that there are scum left.

Why would a 2nd BP be unbelievable? Who says jd's BP isn't fake? Who says The Light's BP isn't fake?
These are all questions that must be answered to solve this. So far, I'm believing Light's claim, it can easily be proven. Flavourwise it does indeed fit with SM games. I could see something going for being the hot new game who wants all the attention for himself.

Yes, I think the Astronomer part is valid. However, I don't think it's necessarily alignment-indicative because it can be used both ways; skipping a night phase typically hurts the mafia, but skipping the day phase typically hurts the town. The BP I am more skeptical of setup-wise, it's not very balanced to give town a lot of BPs when there's no SK in the game. There could be a Vigilante, but still.

It's possible either BP could be fake, but I am more willing to trust JD's claim because of its immediacy following the lack of a nightkill. I've said this before.

With regards to the neighbor situation, I said this earlier too.

This would lead then to MegaPod and JD being town.
 
Alright, after I post this message I would like everyone in the game to make a post that exactly says: "I am Town" and nothing else.
This is because I am a 2x Lie Detector and I would like to have an easy check to see if you are Town or not, I just can't use this action during the day so a Lynch on me would waste both shots.
What I suggest will happen is that we don't lynch me today, I use my action this night and see if I can find a Mafia/Town that way, after that you can lynch me to see that I spoke the truth and continue from that point on.

I don't think you'd get a chance for that any time soon, assuming Light told the truth about his role and actually used it.

The thing is, knowing that his entire post is checked by the Lie Detector, it's looking very likely that the reason he posted several at once is in order to hide the fact that "MegaPod is Town" is a lie.
 
I see no reason to suspect MegaPod at this point.

I thought I was being helpful, dude. In another game, I was once a Lie Detector who could check exactly one statement per use. I figured Cheff's would work the same way.
