Official Pokémon Sword and Shield speculation thread (Updated June 5th, 2019)

Embedded tweets on mobile do that for me too. It's a little inconvenient to have to always click on them, but I don't think there's any real fix for it.

Mewtwo's armour was used to help Mewtwo focus his powers properly, I wonder if Armoured Evolution (if true) would do the same and would be as strong as Mega Evolution when in the Kalos War. Sure in the Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution movie the armour would be something else, but it's fun to speculate.

Hmm..

I thought that thing about the armor helping to focus Mewtwo’s powers was made up by Giovanni so that Mewtwo wouldnt realize he was actually being inhibited by the armor in order to prevent him from attacking the Rocket members? Not that they couldn’t change that in the new movie if they wanted though

It's certainly well-done, but I seriously doubt it's an actual leak. The outlines are striking different from the starters'.

these holes aren't eyes. they are the space between the nut and the liquid eye of meltan
Why would Meltan's liquid eye be stretched in such a way? It's even split apart-you can see a space between the top and bottom of the one of the left.

Why put the eye in a pose that's never been seen with Meltan (since its eye has always been intact) if it's supposed to clearly be Meltan? And where's Meltan's tail, for that matter?

Is that supposed to be the Shield Legendary? It looks like a wolf garbed in shield-themed armor or something.

Look at the relative size of its body. In particular, its shape. Wolves don't have wildly differing from the wolf-norm bodies, only dogs do. It's a dog.

If this were real, I could understand Gamefreak trying to pass a dog shaped body with "wolf" ears as a wolf, but as this is most likely fake, I think this stands.

So it'll be AAA huh? Full 60 dollars plus paid DLC.

Oh, and by "full price" do you mean "also 60 dollars"?
DLCs aren't inherently bad. A game cam be complete and have DLCs as ad-ons. People here are most likely looking at DLCs as a replacement for the third versions GF is used to doing. And honestly, its not a bad idea. Expansion packs like Xenoblade 2 got recently could be done.

So you're saying you would support 60 dollar DLC? Or are you just glossing over my post?

Not that I think 60 dollar DLC is likely, I was merely guessing what the other poster may have meant.

Not inherently bad, huh? I'll wait and see before making general comments that don't apply to anything in particular.

Nope! Unlike the Wii U, the screen of the Switch is on the device when in handheld mode, but when in the dock, it's projected onto the TV screen.

How does that prevent the DS from being emulated though? They can just restrict it to being handheld-only, and there are 2 games for the Switch that are handheld-only. Besides, DS VC was restricted to only on the Wii U GamePad.

Aside from that, I doubt we're getting VC stuff or even DS at all, but we're probably getting DP remakes at some point along with a Johto revisit after that. Who knows how BW/B2W2 would be handled (though I'd prefer dual pack for each version).

To be fair, horses don't exactly look like this in real life.

Or people for that matter in regards to the human hill figures.

It's either a stylized choice by the ancients (hex nuts wouldn't have existed a thousand years ago. So they had to make sense of it). Or it might be two Meltan stuck together and Meltan will have a middle form.
