Alas, my final announcement. With good news comes a little bit of bad news, to some of you at least.

Myself and @Magnificent Entertainer have come to the mutual decision to (to put it harshly) ban ME from future games of the Generation Series, or at least from Gen IV. I will allow ME to go into more detail, but rest assured this is not on bad terms. Simply put, I personally politely requested ME to exempt himself from the next game of the series. As even without loopholes he does seem to somehow break the game. When ME posts I assume he will go into more detail.

I hope you all understand.

They were okay... A little disappointed my Pickup only fired once.

Congrats mafia, Jinjo and ME especially, unfortunately I was right in my paranoia, I was going to vote ME today but decided to gamble on Snake as I felt that was the only lynch that may suceed and I doubt things would have been different as it was already too late. I thought Lone was the scum partner.

Will give more feedback in the morning but I felt myself and jd should have been masons as our roles were really weak and not much use.

However excuses aside I played very poorly in the game and let the town down badly. Going to take a break from playing for a while to reflect on this.

Well, another Generation of Pokemon Mafia Game, another easy victory for ME. :p

sigh As Calvin said, this will indeed be the last time I play in this particular series of games. Even with all the restrictions and limitations that Calvin put on the game, I was still able to exploit the setup and just break everything.
Heck, the entire reason that Snake 1.0 needed to be modkilled was because I had at least five different ways of using confirmed Town Snake to break the game apart effortlessly as ME 1.0, and that was within the first twelve hours of the game!
It is unfortunate, since I really did enjoy playing this and Gen One Mafia, but it's no fun for me if it's too easy, and it's no fun for you all to have to face off against me in a setup where, no matter which side I'm on, the opposing team is already at a massive disadvantage.

As Calvin says, this was a mutual decision, and I definitely don't have any ill will towards him about it, because, honestly, I was probably going to sit out the future games, anyway. This just makes it official.

That said, I did have a really good time playing with you all, and Calvin did a wonderful job hosting. There are just some things that hosts cannot be prepared for. I am one of them, and, in order for this particular excellent setup to continue, I cannot play anymore.

Absolutely 100% inaccurate.
A good Town Leader shares the information they receive. I kept most of the information to myself, floating little tidbits out to the rest of the town as I felt was necessary to maintain the illusion that I was sharing information.

The methodology for confirming a Town Leader should be improved upon, however, and, just because you have a Town Leader does not mean that you should only OC with them.

An actual question for y'all. Aside from ME, how many other people did you actively engage in OC with?

That's a weird way to write 150% accurate. :p

The point being that we're over sharing information that should be kept private. Knowledge is power, and it's information that scum can and have used against us.

I normally refuse to OC, even in OC games... So like normal, I only opened communications with you, Darth, and Max.
 
This is my first game winning as a Survivor and I'm really bad playing as an independent. I had a feeling ME was scum but I kept quiet because I was worried mafia would kill me at night and on the last day phase I realized I could just vote Snake and win with mafia. I find this funny how some of the players were thinking I was the independent.

And yet, you've made it a rule that anytime I join a game, you should be added in, too. :unsure:

Really, though, there's nothing to feel bad about. You all played very well, and, really, there wasn't any outward sign that I was scum, nor is there ever one. That's just how I play. The major thing that tipped me over the edge this time was the setup. I exploited the setup by crunching HP damage numbers in order to delay the deaths of known Town members as long as I possibly could, so that I could maintain my credibility as I dwindled the Town's power and eliminated its information roles. Stalling out the game, and abusing the mafia's nightkill were how I was able to win. Not because any of you made any normally fatal mistakes. This is why I can no longer play in this particular setup. It's too broken when I do it.

Now, a few things to keep in mind in the future, make sure that you are all talking to each other, and not just one person. If all the information is going through one conduit, and that conduit is scum, you're sunk. Basic Town 101 in OC games, chat with as many people as possible and strategize outside of the thread. You'll note that it was town!ME that setup all of the OC chats that we ended up using in the first place, and that's because information is the key to solving mafia games, for Town or scum. OC gives town a chance to minimize and control who gets what information. It is always to Town's benefit to take advantage of OC, and it is mafia's job to compromise those hidden channels and give Town bad information and bad orders.
 
Congratulations, fellow scum! I’m glad ME could profit off of how horrible I played, even if I’m not proud of what I brought to the table this time around. :p It was a fun game with interesting roles and mechanics, though it does seem like not having a proper lynch power crippled town and contributed to their demise. It is unfortunate to see that ME don’t be playing in this series of games anymore.

The other 5% is worrying that everybody is actually secretly onto me and that they're looking to use me to determine who my teammates are.

What did you like and dislike about the game?
I liked the unique mechanics of it, I couldn't really say anything I disliked, other than the lack of discussion going on

Maybe a rule that people need to post a certain amount, I hated the lack of discussion and having to force it with a random vote was the best thing I could think of

What did you think of the roles made?
Having become a spectator after my death and seeing all the roles, I overall liked them, having them change with evolution or keeping a few things was pretty cool.
I liked how Keen Eye worked as a sort of Cop check too and Darth having Commute. A lot of interesting and fun one shot powers that I felt didn't break the balance.

Not really. I think you were going to mention why Tyrogue was in the game on purpose? Was it just for the Keen Eye check since it gave the same result as Mafia (Not from Hoenn)?

Last of all, Gen IV is in the works, would you join and what would you like to see implemented?
Maybe, I felt a bit stressed over managing the health and everything. Kinda glad I died early on so I didn't need to worry over it so much. But that's just me not being used to the mechanics. We'll see
