It was just called the Pikachu version in Japan, yeah. They didn't call it Yellow at all.

Well, it's pretty easy to disprove the first. Why would there be a trailer tomorrow?

As for the second, how can it be real listing a bunch of potential Mega-mons without even knowing if it will return lol.

Oh, I thought I was in the Gen 4 thread, since these two threads tend to be nearby in notifications for me. A brainfart, and I apologise for the mistake.
 
I just hope that they reveal a Galarian form.

Alolan forms should not be a gimmick, not be restricted to Gen 1 and should honestly in revisionist fashion be applied across all regions.

In some areas they could be subtle, some they would remain the same and some would be like the Alolan forms we got.

Gen 5: Oh! we want a remake of Gen 3 (Gen 3 Remake comes out in Gen 6)
Gen 7: Oh! we want a remake of Gen 4 (Got remake of Gen 1)
Gen 8: Oh! We want remake of Gen 2 (Possibly have a Gen 4 Remake)

These fans are never satisfied, are they? Whenever they ask for a remake, chances are it will not appear in the Gen that they are crying out for in.

You're... acting like those are all the same people saying those things and ignoring that the majority believe that we'll be getting Gen 4 remakes in Gen 8. There's just also a possibility that we might get another pair of Let's Go-style remakes of Gen 2 as well.

Also wanting Gen 3 remakes in Gen 5 wasn't unreasonable and I'm sure a lot of people were satisfied when they did come out in Gen 6.

And I'm sure the same would happen for Gen 4, and I only know this thanks to old clues to when people thought Gen 8 will be based in Spain.

Some people also thought gen 7 would be based on Spain based on some concept art in the original reveal trailer lol

I wonder if this will continue for gen 9
 
I think "regional evolution" will be their "new" take on regional variants. Assuming the leak is correct and sirfetched is real, I'm guessing it'll be cross-gen evo, but the evo's are themed and exclusive to galar.

Considering Dexit, I don't think that they would lock entire Pokemon just to Galar, considering that these might be the only games that feature the Galar region for many years.
