I kind of wish we would be able to change its forms so we don't have to go looking for all of them just to have all the forms registered in the Pokedex. Especially now that Pokedex entries can vary depending on the form of the Pokemon.

It does not, although

1) technically women can grow mustaches

2) this isn't that different from Alakazam or Samurott

3) although they're all animals so I'd say it's probably more like stylized whiskers

I'd just prefer it if they wouldn't, you know, make two seperate movepools for each form. That would be neat as well.

And you know, not lock the better form behind a nature that's not beneficial for it.

It's not like you have to find one of every single nature. There's only two forms, and breeding one with the desired opposite nature isn't that difficult. You just use an Everstone.

Not much; Amped can have Plus as an ability while Low Key can have Minus. Amped gets access to Venoshock and Shift Gear while Low Key gets access to Venom Drench and Magnetic Flux. Base stats are the same.
 
I do really agree with what Serebii says:

"I like Pokémon games. Despite the iffy textures, weird ladder time freezes and pop-in, it doesn't change the fact it's a Pokémon game with new Pokémon, new mechanics and so forth and I love that about Pokémon games, and that most love about them too."
 
Whatever the deal is with Sinistea and Polteageist having different "forms" as indicated by the spritesheet still isn't clear to me. Same movepools, same stats, same abilities listed in the dump. I guess it must be to do with the two different kinds of pots in the data (Cracked Pot and Chipped Pot) which serve as their evolution items, but whatever difference this may make for their form doesn't seem to be recorded in the Pokédex.

Maybe it's also a nature-based thing? Maybe only certain natures like the Cracked Pot while others like the Chipped Pot?

I mean, I agree with him, and yet...yare yare. Seeing the fandom get more toxic every year due to Game Freak’s questionable decisions makes it harder to feel this way.

Also, he’s probably gonna get an influx of “you’re a shill” comments now. I feel sorry for Joe, tbh; he deserves more respect than this.

I am so sorry but i think this attitude harms the franchise more than anything. Ignoring the facts and acting like everything is perfect just because you love something is more poisonous than you could ever think. We should accept the mistakes and flaws GF has and support them but we need to warn GF so they can see what did they do wrong and they can try to fix that. We can't get anything form this over-positivity, we should be realistic about the things. And again like a said before i just want from GF get themselves together because they need it.

I don’t usually complain but the fandom makes me want to complain if you know what I mean. I know I laughed at Wailord and some animation error but that’s just for lolz. l guess I will stop reading all the negative comments and just enjoy the game. Why shall I ruin the excitements for myself? After all the wait. The game is not bad. It’s going to be fun.

I don't think he's saying to ignore the flaws, just that he'll enjoy the games despite them. You can still love something while being critical of its shortcomings.

Adding onto it, what we need is a balance between overtly positive and overtly negative. New trailers excite me too, PR is literally meant to do that and new information and discussion gives us the sweet sweet dopamine, but it would be also better if a pragmatic perspective is used.
People should be allowed to criticise the game and put forward their arguments: in the end they too are well meaning Pokemon fans that want the better of the franchise and it would be well to limit criticism to the point it’s fair, true and objective.
Also, people still hyped over the game deserve not to be shamed over their choices but comments like “You’ll buy the game anyway” (I’ve got told that when I explicitly said I won’t get the games on r/Pokemon) or “go away with your negativity” should be reduced too.

Bulbagarden forums has been really mature at most times about that apart from some argument breakouts: everyone has been able to voice their opinion fairly, and we’re not flooded with negative to the point of nitpicking or positive to the point of denial mindset.

In the end, people with both opinions wish for the better of the franchise and a game most people can enjoy.

I am not defending since I don’t really care but I guess you misunderstood Joe.

1- he never said the game is perfect. He said he knows about the issues but will enjoy the game nevertheless.
2- he never said don’t state your opinion, he is only againts people harassing Masuda and GF. Because well no one should be harassed and act disrespectful

Good for him. He does need to make a living, after all.

Yes, I'm implying that he isn't exactly objective and we shouldn't care that much about what he thinks.
