I agree with this read and get that it's meta, but elaboration is always good.

Mido votes Timaeus saying it looked like they were role fishing and votes him but then later she votes herself and where did her scum read on Timaeus go all of a sudden. Next post was filler and her next post she says she liked how Timaeus attempted to do something which didn't make sense to me because she voted them earlier saying they looked like they were role fishing.

By the way, that's not my scum meta at all since I don't come in the thread and vote like that accusing players.

Okay, so maybe "tunneling" isn't exactly the right word, but "the one person you'd responded to or acknowledged" is a lot more words and a lot less convenient to type. Yeah, Timeaus didn't really respond to most of your questions, so maybe the asking of multiple questions was necessary, but that should not be mutually exclusive with responding to other players.

Yeah, fair point. I just didn't see anything to respond to as I felt Timaeus' strange role soft(?)claiming was an angle worth going for. I was too focused on that as ultimately it went nowhere

An inactive alive player can become active later in the game, An inactive dead player can never become active... and provides no useful information.

Quagsire has been switching their votes which made me wonder if this is town. I don't even remember seeing a newb scum switching votes like that.

I don't like Contrainer's vote on Jinjo. He's made no inclination of having read over the thread (which.... admittedly isn't much) and. though O don't agree with his reasoning, he could at least say why he thinks this is Jinjo's meta scum game.

I think this game is dead and it looks like players won't be back. Seeing that it is so quiet it means scum are happy with the current game state.

Timaeus posts on page 3 makes me think they are joking.

It's because of my role that made me think they were joking.

I thought this was going to be a normal basic game and Timaeus talks about the power of their role saying they knew their role would activate on day 1 and a basic game does not have a role with powers with the way how Timaeus has been talking about their role.

I'm vanilla townie and it is pretty obvious due to the way how I reacted on these quotes above on Timaeus talking about their role having power. When I saw I got vanilla townie I had to check on page 1 to see what kind of game this is and since it said this is a basic mafia game I assumed all town roles were vanilla townie meaning Timaues talking about their role having power shouldn't even exist in a game with vanilla townie. The way how players have been shading me about me saying that I think Timaeus is joking then am I to assume you all have power roles while I am the only vanilla townie.

At least you did take a stand here by voting Quagsire, but from my perspective this is the pot calling the kettle black, as you haven't really contributed either way besides taking a stand in this vote, which I think is somewhat hypocritical, but not as bad as Quagsire, if that makes sense.

I'm still not feeling great about Snowy, particularly with him literally having admitted to lurking while not having posted anything, but quags is has been very sheepy and spammy. As I said these can be new player traits but they also can be scum things and they're not ever super great for town.
Probably with them cross-voting at this point in D1 I don't think it's super probable that Snowy/quags are both scum but idk.

Also kinda considering Jinjo, usually I'd expect her to have given reads on players beyond just saying she thinks someone's joking.

To build on what I was saying in said previous post, I think it's specifically odd that you switched from Snowy to the person that Snowy was also voting. I think it's even weirder when you were voting quags to begin with. If Snowy is scum, I think this makes you more likely to be scum via interaction as putting a quick D1 vote here would create disassociation on a backread.

I know you've addressed my vote on you so let me get to that next.

Dawning, nothing to say about your reads. They seem concise and reasonable. I agree with the Space read especially in hindsight of Timaeus' flip. I also agree on the Snowy scumread, though I am at least putting them at a lean for now, I would like to ISO them as well as wait for more content from them.

I am still wary of you but given that I am mindmelding with a lot of them at the moment makes me feel a bit better about you going into today.

...Jinjo could be telling the truth here, but if this is a mostly vanilla game then I think scum would be on power roles too, so I don't really think a vanilla claim is proof that she's town, even with those "softs".

Appears like he just had an idea to vote me and went with it, without responding to any of my posts.

Nothing immediately pinged me about MegaPod's post when I read it, but going back it looks like he voted you because he thought you were voting him on the basis of not sharing more about his role, but I interpreted your reasoning as voting him mostly because he wasn't responding to your questions.

I would like to see more from @MegaPod . Have your reads changed since Day 1?

I don't like this post, and I'd rather see you actually go back through and read the thread so you can formulate your own opinions. Not to say that I disbelieve your claim, but I feel like this was posted rather matter-of-factly, as if the claim will clear you or take you out from under the FoS immediately.

These posts from Mido are so underwhelming. First she votes Timaeus saying they look like they are role fishing and votes them, later she votes herself and this discussion went nowhere, her 3rd post was a filler post which was so pointless, 4th post says she likes how Timaues attempted to do something but earlier she said Timaeus looked like they were role fishing and voted them because of this, 5th post says Timaeus may have a passive role and why bother on talking about someone's role in front like this on what you think they have.

I feel like this is totally taken out of context with regard to what was going on in thread, Mido was reacting to what happened with the crowd noise and was being investigative with that feature of the game. In that respect the first two posts aren't necessarily underwhelming or inconsequential, as I have previously mentioned.

Why is it bad though? Why does it mean that Quagsire is a distraction to town? What about their other reads specifically regarding Snowy and (I believe) Space?
