I think of it like contracting. Sometimes, when the economy's good, people will buy a little something. xD When people lose interest, it goes bye bye.
And when it's in demand, you're the only person to do the job, so you have tons of jobs to do. >.>

If you try and make a shop, it either gets way too many requests or dies the second day.
