To answer your question about EVs.

Special Attack - The Old Chateau has Gastly (1 EV in Special Attack) and Haunter (2 EVs in Special Attack)

Defense - You can train in the Oreburg Mines or on Iron Island for Defense EVs by fighting Geodude, Graveler and Onix.

HP - I usually fight Bidoof along route 202

Speed - You can fight Starly along route 202, or you can battle the Fisherman on the bridge west of Eterna City who has a team of 6 Magikarp.

Special Defense - You can surf and fight Tentacool for Special Defense EVs.

I guess it's worth a shot. Hell, I just got back from seeing G.I. Joe, which was panned (even though I actually liked it).

Yeah, I actually had a PM conversation with CRUSH about just that. I didn't end up having anything he wanted, so we decided not to trade. We'll get one eventually though, just a little patience. Patience has not failed me yet when it comes to Pokemon.
