As Thunder took a bite of grass for breakfast, Thespia's own stomach started rumbling, and he decided that it was time to fill it. "Can we wait a sec? I'm a little hungry." Thunder nodded and with that, Thespia bounded off into the forest.

It had been a while since Thespia had hunted, and it let him get in touch with his natural instincts, and it made him feel almost normal. A rattata was scrabbling around for some food. Thespia jumped at it and killed it with a swift bite to the neck. He then sat down to enjoy his prey.

After he was done, he found his way back to Tunder and clambered on to her back. She reared up and they took off towards Mt. Moon

She smiled and tokk off running in the direction of Mt. Moon, now that they knew which way it was. She ran at a breath taking speed making thier surroundings a blur. She made swift jumps over a couple fallen trees and soon stopped at a small stream just outside the forest "Wow! It's so beautiful out here"

Thespia held on for dear life as Thunder charged through the forest. She was fast! Trees and Pokemon whizzed by, making the world around them a blur. Thespia wasn't one for fast motion, and he buried his face in her mane as they ran, her heat comforting him. When she jumped over trees and such, his heart pounded at a thousand times a second. What a wild ride!

They finally came to a stop at a stream. Sitting down and resting, they quickly fell asleep next to the slowly flowing river. Thespia's dreams were once again haunted by the sounds of splashing water and the cries for help from a trainer. He tried to figure out where the noise was coming from when he felt a poking in his side. He awoke to find thunder jabbing his side with her hoof. Fear was in her eyes. Thespia looked up. They were surrounded by Kangaskhan.

She reared up neighing loudly trying to frighten the Kangaskhan away from them but it was no use. They must be too close to the Kangaskhan's babies or something of that nature. Either way the Kangaskhan were not backing down. As the wild pokemon got closer she made her flames bigger and bigger soon covering both of them to keep away the angery mothers. "What are we gonna do Thespia?"

Thespia looked around, trying to think quickly. Thunder's flames were scaring the kangaskhan a little, but how long would it last? Thespia then got an idea. "Thunder, do you have flash fire or run away?" Thunder told him it was flash fire. "Perfect, then just burn me as hot as you can and run!" Thespia let heat surge over his body, entering Thunder, making her blaze bright as the sun. "1... 2... 3!" They both charged forward, bowling over the huge creatures as they ran for safety. A trail of burned grass was left in their wake.

When they were a safe distance away, they laid down, panting. "Are you all right Thunder?" He asked. He tried to go over to her, but he fell right back down again because of a pain in his left forepaw. He tried to cover it up by sitting on it.

She panted as her flames died down a little lower than they usually were. "Ya i think..." She collasped where she had been standing, her legs unable to hold the rest of her body anymore. She closed her eyes unable to open them again with the little strength she had left after flaring up her mane and tail for so long. If she were older she'd just be a little tired but she was still young and it took a lot of her energy.

Thespia couldn't bear to see his new friend in so much pain. Disregarding the pain in his own foot, he hobbled over to help her. She was in pretty bad shape. Her flames were low and dying. Thespia knew that if a Charmander's flame went out, it died. Was that the same for a ponyta?

It painfully hurt him, but in order to keep his friend alive, he used fire blast on her, and her flames were restored to their full beauty. Thespia smiled, and fainted on top of her. Not moving. Not even breathing.

Only a second after he fainted she woke up and felt her friend laying on her back but couldn't feel him breathing. She didn't know what had happened but he needed. She knew there were no chansy in the area, they didn't live anywhere near here but there was a pokemon center near Mt. Moon and one in the city. She didn't know if they'd help a wild pokemon but it was worth a try. Without knowing anything else she could do for him she got him more securely on her back and started running as fast as she could towards the nearest pokemon center she could find.
After what seemed like a lifetime of running as fast as she could she crashed straight through the glass doors and into the front desk and accidentally knocked herself out. Luckily someone was there to help them and got each of them on a streacher and into special rooms to treat them.

*BEEP*... *BEEP*

Thespia slowly blinked open. His vision was blurry, and he was on a stretcher. A Chansey moved in front of his view, and attached a little nozzle to his nose. It instantly filled his lungs with hot air, the kind preferred by all fire types, and his breathing slowly approached a normal rate. He moaned and tried sitting up, but it was no use. He flopped back down and drifted back off into oblivion as the chanseys did everything they could to make him as hot as possible.

Thunder layed on a streacher next to him. She was only half awake but she still tried to make him feel her presence with her flames. After awhile of flaring them up she finally got some of them to cover his paw long enough to notify him of her presence in the room with him.

Thespia felt his paw heat up. He turned and saw Thunder next to him. She didnt seem to be in as bad of shape as he was. In fact, she was getting rolled out of the room. "Th- *cough* Thunder.... Don't... go..." A coma seized Thespia. His tiny body unable to withstand the stress it was under, he fainted again. As he was drifting off, he heard an alarm start beeping and a woman yell "He's going critical!" Whoopee...

Not long later Thunder was kicking the wall in a stall in a barn-like building. This wasn't where she wanted to be. She wanted to be with Thespia inside the pokemon center. She didn't care that there were other pokemon like her around her. Eventually she stopped kicking the walls and started to try to get the small halter they had put on her off but it was still no use. She couldn't even see over the wall of her stall but just listening to the pokemon around her she sometimes she thought she didn't want to but mainly she thought of Thespia

Thespia's life slowly flowed back into his body. His heart rate was very fast at first, but it slowed to normal as the Chanseys and Nurse Joy worked their hardest to keep him alive. They had thrown him in a furnace to jump start his heart and give him the fire he needed. A Flareon that was nearby was also giving him an extra boost of heat with flamethrower. With all this heat and life pouring into him, Thespia stood, stumbled, stood up straighter, and proudly walked out of the furnace. The nurses all cheered and high fived as he walked out, almost fully recovered.

Thespia started to walk outside, when suddenly a voice from behind him called, "Hey! Wait!" Thespia looked back. A young boy and his mother who had been talking to nurse joy were talking to him. The boy held out a pokeball. "Wanna be my pokemon?" He asked. Thespia blinked at him. A trainer? Really?! He looked at the pair. They seemed nice. Thespia slowly approached them, giving a few cautious sniffs. The boy's nice face suddenly turned rotten. A creepy smile crept across his face. "GO! POLIWHIRL!" He shouted. He threw his pokeball he was holding and out popped a poliwag. Stupid kid. Didn't know a polywhirl from a poliwag. "WATER GUN! NOW!" The poliwag wiggled its tail. "WHAT? No! Not tail whip! WATER GUN! NOW!" The poor critter looked at the boy and fell over. Amused as he was, Thespia didnt want to stay around until the poliwag's water gun worked. He dashed out of the center, vowing to never trust humans again.

After a brief search, he found the stalls where the center kept wild pokemon and sniffed out Thunder. Wiggling into her stall through a hole in the wall (Probably chewed by a rattata) he entered. "Thunder!" He ran over and hugged her. Loving her embrace.

She smiled and hugged him back. "I'm so glad your ok! i thought you weren't gonna make it for awhile there. I'm so happy now." She smiled and layed down next to him. "The people here besides the nurses aren't very smart. I had to kick one in the face when he tried to nail these horseshoes in me." She smiled and giggles. "He left a little while ago with a red mark the shape of my hoof on his face"

Thespia hugged her back, enjoying her embrace. Her warm body made him feel closer to home than he'd ever been before. He was a little scared, but he thought he may be starting to love her.

Before his mind could wander on the subject too much, she started telling him about her shoe experience. He laughed when she told him about kicking the nurse. Afterwards, he stood up, stretched, and beckoned with his tails, saying "Come on, let's get out of here. This is the Pokecenter by Mt. Moon. We're really close!" He squeezed through the hole he found and unlocked the stall for her. They took off towards the mountain which was looming up in front of them :D

She smiled and ran towards the mountain while trying to stay at a speed he could keep up with. She easily jumped over things that blocked their path. It wasn't until long after then were gone that the nurses figured out they had left so by now there was no point in persuing them.

Since they were at the pokecenter right outside Mt. Moon's entrance, they went inside. It was very dark and Thunder had to use her flames to light the way. After walking for about an hour, pelts brushing, they arrived in a big room with a mysterious stone in the middle of it. The moon was shining down on it and making it glow with an eerie light. "Hello?" Thespia called out. Dark faces peeked out from behind the rocks. Cleffas!

She smiled at the cuteness of all the little cleffas. "Aww you guys are just too cute!" She giggles and lowered her head to them as one climbed on her head. "Hey! Your gonna get burnt it you go up much farther" She smiled and slid the cleffa off.

Thespia bounded forward. All these cleffas! Certainly one of them knew where to find a fire stone! "Hi!" He shouted. "My name is Thespia! Do you know where I can find a fire stone?" The cleffas looked at him funny, and then started jumping on him. "Cleffa! Cleffa!" They all shouted. Great. They knew nothing. Thespia turned and ran further into the cave. He was no closer to his fire stone than he was when he started. In fact, he may even be further.

She frowned and rounded up the cleffa. Maybe they did know but since they are babies they are hard to get them stay calm. After awhile she got them to tell her and ran deep in the cave she ran towards Thespia but tripped on a rock and fell down. She tried to get up but there was a sharp pain in her leg.
