Ash capturing all the starters.

Ash has so far captured 8 of the 12 starters that have been seen in the anime. So, do you think he will aquire all the Sinnoh starters?

Probably not since Paul has Chimchar and Dawn has Piplup.

Is he going to get Piplup or Chimchar in D/P? NO.

Giving Ash all the starters was fine in Kanto but it was utterly predictable and dull in Johto. The writers knew that crap was not going to fly a third time, which is why they decided to NOT give Ash all the starters yet again.

The smartest thing the writers ever did was split the starters up between the main characters at the start of AG, which D/P continues. (although with the rival this time instead of Brock)

Since May got the fire starter and Dawn got the water one...would be nice to see the next girl with a cute grass type.
