OK ive gotten to Thorton a couple of times, but I KEEP FREAKIN' LOSING.
Does anyone out there have any tips for this place devoid of fun?
 
Think before you rent your team when you start off. Choose Pokemon that suit your strategy (mine is all-out attacking, but I go for move combinations as well). Also, you have to make the choice of whether or not to trade Pokemon. The more you trade, the higher the chance of you getting more Pokemon with better move sets.

Honestly? It's just luck. The game likes to cheat in the Battle Frontier and you'll often be given AWFUL choices in the Factory while Thorton gets crits. You just gotta pick 3 unique types and just get lucky.
