May I ask if you have any plans to evolve one to get a Shiny Gyarados as well? Or are their IVs too bad? Would you do it regardless if/when you ever get enough Candy for another Gyarados?

67% 56% 27% - so they SUCK.

I have about 450 Magikarp candy. I'm do have a CP184 (I think) Magikarp with very good stats, but I'm saving that candy for if I obtain a shiny Magikarp, even if it's only a CP10 one. Apparently they can be obtained from eggs again.

Forgot to post here, but I got Shiny Sableye too My only Shiny-related lucky moment during the Halloween event.

The only Shiny Pokémon I have caught are 2 Shiny Magikarp and I caught one of them today and the other one yesterday. The one I got today has 82% perfect IVs which is much more than the other one so if I don’t get another Shiny Magikarp before I have 400 Magikarp Candies (I only have 67 at the moment) I will evolve the Shiny Magikarp which I got today with 82% perfect IVs.

I got a shiny Sableye during the Halloween event. I just opened up Pokemon Go at around 5am one night and it was there! I was so excited because I didn't even know it could be shiny! I immediately used my only golden razz berry and an ultra ball on it and caught it.
