Posters from EB Games stores in Australia have shown that certain stores will be giving out Arceus from Nov. 5-16. This distribution is to commemorate the twelfth Pokémon movie, which will air in Australia on Nov. 6 and 7 on Cartoon Network.

It's also mentioned to be available at Kmart in their junk mail for the 5th-11th for the same time period as at EB.

Was there ever an in store Shaymin given away in Australia? If not, this strongly suggests that we won't be getting the movie Shaymin or Regigigas.

I betcha HG/SS come out here first in English as well. Nintendo Australia is really picking up their game IMO.

I'd almost guarantee they won't.

But then, we *are* getting New Super Mario Bros. Wii first in the world, so I think that would fit quite well into the "stranger things have happened" side of the argument. That's also this month, though. Maybe they've just decided that November will be their little gift to their fans for once.

I remain of the opinion that these are merely oddities rather than signs of a trend. And considering how badly we've had it with Pokemon release dates this gen, getting HGSS before America would be the most peculiar of any of these things so far.

Shaymin is available through Mystery Gift on Platinum until the 8th of November I think.

Does anyone know if this event is only for Platinum?
And do you have to be past the elite four or anything?

yes it's only for PT and no just get mystery gift at jubilife city, in the tv building. then save, reset go to menu there should be "mystery gift" there go to it and get gift from wireless! have you got a wifi connection tho?...
