Ahoy mateys, this is your captain speaking.

Or at least it was.

It is with great sadness in my heart that I formally announce that I will be stepping down as Captain of this ship and will no longer be the Head of Fun & Games and The War Room.

But fortunately I have a more than suitable replacement, Maniacal Engineer will be taking over as section head for me to go along with his snazzy new bold username. Additionally, I will be sticking around as a moderator, but you might see a little less of me. But don't be afraid to say hey or give me a mention to remind me to pop back in.

And last but definitely not least, I'd like to congratulate Scarlet Sky on his promotion to section head of Video Games & Technology and Entertainment Inc and to Zexy on his promotion to head of GO and to Super Mod!

First and foremost, my most sincere and heartfelt thanks to Enzap, for everything that he has done for both the F&G section, in general, and for me, in specific. You've been an excellent mentor, friend, and a life changer. A year or so ago, you took a chance on a complete nutjob who happened to write a pretty decent app. Together, we found ways for me to put my enthusiasm and creativity to good use for the benefit of the Fun & Games Section and, later on, to the General Pokemon Discussion section and the forum at large. I am truly and deeply honored to have been chosen to fill your shoes in this section, and I know that I will make you proud.

Now then, onto business. There are probably a few questions about this power transfer that should be addressed. Number one, I am still going to be in charge of the Mentoring Program in TWR. That still remains one of my highest priorities for that section, because it allows for a more vibrant community.
Second, despite being newly emboldened, I'm still me. That means that, if any of you, at any time, want to chat, my door is always open. Whether it's about the section, ideas for games or mafia related business, or just to shoot the breeze, I'm around.
Third, I will certainly continue working with both the other F&G staff members, as well as anyone who has an interest in helping out either in F&G or TWR. A leader with no team to work with is not a leader at all.

I think that's about it for what I can think of at the moment, but if any of y'all have questions about the power transfer or anything of that nature, feel free to ask.

And as for Sky and Zexy, congratulations, guys. I'm proud to work with both of you and to continue working with both of you in the future.

Scarlet I've known you for years and years now, from a time back when I was still pretty new to the forums. I forgot what sparked me going to you, and sending you the first message I did, but I'm glad I did cause even if we don't talk much you've always been a cool dude and after everything I've seen of you and such I'm really glad to see you get the position you did. You totally deserve it man.

And Enzap we never talked much, but I know I've run into you several times over the years. It's a bit sad to see ya step down because whenever I'd hang out in F&G it definitely always seemed like you were here, and having fun. It's okay though cause it's not like you'll be going away forever, and I'm sure your presence will surely still be felt in F&G. Good luck with everything!
