I doubt this will ever happen, since they don't only need to change the lvls, but also the movesets.
someday they will even do that.

Move sets would need to be considered like you say, but this shouldn’t be all that difficult I would have thought. All the data on levels attacks are learned and evolution occurs is in the game already. All they would need to do is override some moves with the Gym Leaders gimmick, TM to be distributed etc.I doubt this will ever happen, since they don't only need to change the lvls, but also the movesets.

The same we though about megas and 3D world.Knowing Gamefreak, they won't, because too much work.
I’d be very happy if they did that, simply because it means that Game Freak have put a lot of thought into the Galar region as a whole. Any point where it seems like Game Freak put effort in more than mere aesthetics is welcome in my point of view! Also, I'm going to make a prediction and say that Ryuki will turn out to be from Galar, and will be the Dragon-type Gym Leader. Knowing what we now know about the how the Gym Challenge works in Galar with the Stadiums and what he says in the Kantonian Gym in USUM about being from another region & wanting to see other regions' takes on Pokémon Gyms, I'm starting to feel like GameFreak wouldn't have put all that in there without a reason.
You're asking too much out of GameFreak. They're incredibly lazy. I highly doubt that we're getting level scaling anyways.someday they will even do that.
GameFreak is not “incredibly lazy” lol. Lack of ambition maybe. Not lazy in any sense of the word. You're asking too much out of GameFreak. They're incredibly lazy. I highly doubt that we're getting level scaling anyways.
Neither of those things really demonstrates ambition from GF. Those were moves made by Nintendo.Lack of ambition is still a bit much. If they really lacked ambition we wouldn't be in the 3D era let alone moved to the switch.
Remember when they thought the Switch would fail hence why they didn't jump on it immediately?Neither of those things really demonstrates ambition from GF. Those were moves made by Nintendo.
That sounds like the opposite of ambitious to me lol but I don’t remember a time when anyone really thought the Switch would fail tbh.Remember when they thought the Switch would fail hence why they didn't jump on it immediately?

Also in the interest of remaining on-topic: I’m hoping we don’t get a Fairy-gym this gen if only because I’d rather see a Fairy E4 member instead bc it hasn’t been done yet.
Yup, those would be cool too but we already know that Grass is a gym unfortunately. There hasn't been any Normal, Grass or Electric Elite Four members either.
could be both. But league member can use more mixed dual types.Yup, those would be cool too but we already know that Grass is a gym unfortunately.
Outside of GS (which is an exception due to its sequel status) they've never had a Gym Leader and Elite 4 member specialize in the same type.could be both. But league member can use more mixed dual types.
Or it could turn out that a gym leader or his relative became a E4 member and left them the gym.
