Ideas For New Pokemon Moves

Ice Ballet : dancing move, physical, power 40, lowers opoent speed one stage + works like rapid spin(for some weak ice types that would not normally benefit from rapid spin)

River Dance- 90 priority, physical, water version of the move First Impression.

Ocean Pirouette - water, power 50, physical, chance of 50% that it rises speed and defence one stage+ instant "rapid spin" effect. (can free the user out of fire spin, leech seed, whirlpool) (Primarina)

maybe they could make some dance moves be also sound moves?

We dont have a physical sound move till now. Could see fighting, sopund in body and by contact realeased and making oponent dizzy(new status condition or maybe confused)?

Burning sands

hmm? why not ground type? we dont have ground type moves that could poison, burn or freeze the oponent?
why not make it more like earth power or scald but power 70, but be able to hit all land going targets?

Wake Screem- power 55, doubles power to 110 if oponet is in sleep status, and wakes it up.
It would be probably special.

we need after all this years a entry hazard against flying and levitating foes.
Dont know what type, but ice or flying would make sense taking they are in mid air.

Aerial Bullet - flying, power 50, rises user speed one stage, bullet move(Bulletproof blocks it)

Sound Wall - steel, sound, works 5 turns, reduces physical damage from flying and levitating pokemon by half; and physical flying type moves from landgoing pokemon.(a flying type with soundproof would be immune to this)

Metalica - steel , sound move, works like Infestation that means it makes damage.


Racket Outbreak- fire type move, special, sound, blast, 2-5 turns, power 25, sends powerful fire bullets that exploud with a loud twist hurting the foe. (for a starter pokemon , goat, fire/fairy greek pan Game Freak has all rights and can use this for free)

Sleep Dance- fairy, priority +2, physical, power 70, this move works during sleep status, but i used out of sleep will cause the user to sleep after doing damage, and do only half damage.

Troll Hammer- physical, fairy, switches oponent out , moves last, power like dragon tail.

-a ground type increased priority switching move that leaves a illusion behind on the field of the pokemon who used that move,
till the next pokemon is hit by oponent's attack. The illusion wont break if the next pokemon uses a attack.
By sending a new pokemon in, the oponent wont get info what kind of oponent he is battling. (this one maybe could be without doing damage)

- also want a new substitute switching out move, that you dont need to baton pass it.

- a shielding move that would activate after 5 turns but only for 1 turn in the future even if the pokemon who used is KO.
(but would make the user loose 1/4 hp by using it )
- also a healing move- 2/3 hp that yuou could send for 5 tuurns forward for the nect pokemon to use.
(but would make user loose 1/4 hp)

The user forms large balls of pollen above the opponent before making it crash down. It’s the grass type version of Eruption and Water Spout.
 
Pixie Swarm

The target is attacked by a swarm of pixies(little light faries) and attacked for four to five turns. The target can't flee during this time.

(this move can be Defoged, Rapid spined , mythical flamed away, pokemon with Static ability will neutralize it and also Infestation after one turn, also sound moves will remove this move if used on the field)

The target is attacked by a beam made of a hive of Pixies (little light balls). This may confuse the foe(30%).


Pixie Circle

The user summons a trap of light stones burried underground around the field in a circle.
The move will trap all pokemon that switch into battle and cause them to be immobilized for the first turn out.
(this move react to the users switch ins too. if too OP then This trap only will work once in battle)
(double edge sword if oponent uses whirlwind, roar, circle throw, in the same turn against the user of this move or if the user self tries to use U-turn, volt switch or baton pass )
- ghost types are immune to traps.

Toxic Dagger
Type: Steel
Power: 60
Accuracy: 100%
Category: Physical
This move may cause the oponnent to get poisoned(30%)

Excalibur
Type: Fairy
Power: 150
Accuracy:100%
category: Physical
user moves last, next turn cant move.


Winter Sleep
Type: Ice
Power: 30
Accuracy: 100%
Category: Special
A very cold wind starts blewing around the foe. This move may cause the oponnent to fall a sleep (30%).


Stone Curse
Type: Rock
Power: --
Accuracy: 100%
Category: Status
The user puts a stone curse on the target. Afflicted targets are now Rock type as well.
This move has 30% chance of causing the target to get Paralyzed.
If the oponent was Rock type, then this move will block its Rock type moves for 2 turns.
(this should also be similar with forest curse and treat or treat and soak)

Perma Frost: all pokemon entering battle loose speed one stage.
flying and levitating foes loose attack, ; sp. attack and speed one stage,
Pokemon who use magnet rise or are under telekinesis during this entry hazard loose like flying and levitate.
Ice types are immune to this effect.

Knock-out uppercut
fighting, PP 10
power: 50
ac: 90

the user preforms an uppercut meant to knock oponents out.
if this attack makes the opoising pokèmon faint, it can't be revived in this battle.

Pixie dust
fairy, PP 5
cat: special
Magical pixie dust is sprinkled around, causing you or others to levitate in the air!
targets user or other pokemon on your team. The target gains flying type for 6 turns.

Root grab
grass, PP 10
power: 25
ac: 75
cat: pysical
strong roots grab hold of the unlucky target, rendering movement
the target loses flying type/levitate, and its evasiveness and speed get lowered sharply for as long as the effect lasts. Lasts 4 turns. The lost speed/evasiveness are returned after the effect is over.

Dry Cement- rock type, neutralizes all terrains, every pokemon that makes first contact with battlefield will get speed lowered by one stage and be immobilized for the first turn, this moves effect lasts 4 turns.
(when hail , sunny weather, rain, sandstorm then only 2 turns becuse it dries faster)

Scorch Whip - fire type, special, power 40, 50% of causing the oponent to flinch or to switch out
fire/ghost , centaur starter material
 
You know how there's Normal and Psychic moves that negate the immunities of Ghost or Dark types? Maybe there'd be some room for Ghost, Electric, Ground, Poison, and Dragon variants targeting Normal, Ground, Flying, Steel and Fairy. It's something I'd like to see explored.
 
I think moves that could only be used under circumstances might be interesting. Or more combination moves if they ever decide to have more double and triple battles. The pledge moves are actually decently powered and become better wen used together. And I know there’s moves like helping hand and stuff but they don’t really feel like the pledge moves. It could add to the lore of the Pokémon themselves like hoard battles did for zangoosr and seviper.

occasionaly but so that they can still be used also normally in some matter, to not make moves unused or redudant like those that only work in doubles... like Rototiler could/should be able to work in single battles and have a 3 turn duration for switching in and out pokemon. The only grass types that can use it for themself are cacnea , paras and tapu bulu.

yes the pledge moves where animated that they come from the terrain, what if they could workdiffrently if terrains are on the field?

I though about moves more, we have trapping moves and abilities, but no moves and abilities to counter trapping, we have pursuit which doubles power when something wants to escape but no move that could respond in a defensive way to this like doubbling power when trapped by another pokemon. Would be cool if they would make more with it and with switching too becuse generation went into the right direction with golisopod and yungoos but really?
I know fairies , ghost, psychic have acces to switching and flinching moves of other types, but it feels like they should get their own type versions of some moves.(damage dealing ones)

The user snacks on some leafs to restore health.
The user restores a small amount of health. If the target is a grass type, this attack does ×1.5 dmg more and the user is healed ×2 the normal amount.

There is already a move called swallow, used in conjunction with stockpile. You could possible call yours “devour” or something like that?

Maybe you should rename some of these, they sound a bit like z moves. Otherwise, I love them.

hiss/tweet
same effect as growl, just differnt flavour text. (hiss for snakes/cats, tweet for birds.)
The user emits a frightening hiss that makes the enemy scared to attack/The user produces an endering tweet that makes others not want to harm it.

Shooting star
fairy, pp 10
cat: other?
A wish is placed on a shooting star empowered with fairy magic.
the trainer chooses a stat that the user gets raised sharply.

Plasma Lightning - electric-power 70 - this move is also SE against fairies.

(similar like freeze-dry but electric version against fairy types, electricity can also take down magical beeings in recent scyfy and it makes sense)
 
I'm not particularly creative, so I'm not going to try and think up a name for any moves I have in mind. Hell, I'm not even going to assign them a BP or BA. However I will share ideas for moves I wish they'd implement:

-Moves that bypass status.
How about a low-BP move that bypasses the check for confusion, sleep, or paralysis? Nothing OP so EVERYONE will run it, just some dumb little move that you can still use regardless of how in the hole your status is.
-Priority move for each type.
We have 8 types already. Round out the roster.
-You know Mold Breaker?
Yeah, that, only it suppresses all abilities for 3-5 turns. I'm not talkin' Gastro Acid or Core Enforcer here.

I'm pretty much down with any new move that messes with my opponent's natural gameplay.
 
Spiky Armor- for 2-5 turns the use has spikes on his skin and does similar effect to rough skin and iron barbs.
(good against wrap, bind, clamp and physical users)

electric could work great with rainy weather... (Lighning Burst)
grass with grassy terrain. Tropic Doom
ice with hail. (Ice Age)
a Ground type version with sandstorm. (Desert Tomb)

weird that we didnt get this. But they should work even if user fainst.

No way in hell they'd make this OHKO, that's way too OP. There's a reason why OHKO moves have stupidly low accuracy. Maybe double damage instead?
 
more moves and abilities that work like throat chop, heal block , disable, cursed body(ability), taunt , torment.

Would love to have a sound move that could block for 3 turns the oponet from using moves of the oponents type that it self is. (fire; sarter) (imagine you use it against a dual type and you block it from using its stab moves)
Or a oposing one that blocks other type moves then the oponet is.
Especially cursed body comes in mind, there should be moves working similar to it, allowing you to block the oponents move.(could be used last to block the move that goes before or one that when goes first with regular speed calculation and with 30% of activating could block oponent from even attacking in the same turn; would be good for fairy, ghost, psychic, dark, water, fire, grass, electric, ground, bug ice and other types to get somethink like that)

Taun and torment work only on a selected pokemon, would be cool if we got "room " or "terrain" that could work for more turns against all of oponents pokes that switch in. Or maybe they could make pokemon with abilities that boost the efects of such moves for longer and against all oponents pokemon that switch in.
