Least Memorable Pokemon?

Qwilfish, in my opinion.

No one recalls those.

It's the only Pokemon I have forgotten. The only one.

well before this generation id say nosepass but then he got an evo so...stantler. i only remembered him for this occasion

All the baby Pokemon. Who would raise an Igglybuff or a Togepi to level 100. Not unless you want them to have a baby battle.

...Wait...I raised a Smoochum to Lv. 100. Never mind.

sunkern
the only thing good that ever happened to it was it evolved

Most of the Pokemon from 2nd generation. Dunsparce isn't that forgettable for me, it's one of the team I'm training, and in Silver it was one of my main Pokemon.
I would say Magcargo. I can't even remember it's pre-evolution's name.

Dunsparce is not the least memorable Pokémon since EVERYONE FREAKING MENTIONS HIM IN EVERY THREAD.

The Pokémon who really is most deserving of the title is Chingling.

True! Finally, a fellow Sunkern hater!
It's so pathetic! There isn't even any point in having it in the game!
Now, I'm definitely not all about stats, but Sunkern has the lowest stats of any Pokemon, period.
He sucks. And his evolved form aint much better.

Sunkern...?

Man, I had really forgotten that one...the moment I saw its name I remembered but...

sheldler. it was the first pokemon i ever forgot existed, and i only remember it when i see it in the games.

which i haven't in gen. III or IV.

Dunsparce, Delibird (I can't believe I trained that to lv.43... and it still sucked), Bidoof(or.... ppl will remember it due to their hate for it),Stanler, and Shuckle

The answer can be proven... by science!

Actually, I'm kind of serious. A while back I came across some online quizzes that challenge people to name every Pokémon in a generation within a time limit. Should you wish to try them, they're here:

Gen 1 Gen 2 Gen 3 Gen 4

But what's relevant to this thread is the fact that the results are recorded, and it's possible to see which Pokémon were most likely to be forgotten!

Bearing in mind that these results are subject to change as people continue to take the tests, the least memorable Pokémon in each generation are:

Gen 1: Exeggutor, followed by Exeggcute and Lickitung
Gen 2: Corsola, followed by Qwilfish and Magcargo
Gen 3: Barboach, followed by Whiscash and Corphish
Gen 4: Mantyke, followed by Chingling and Chatot

While it's true that these tests might not be a totally fair assessment of memorability (they're probably skewed against Pokémon with hard-to-spell names, for example), I think this is as precise an answer as we're likely to get.

Also, I apologise if I just stole the last 48 minutes of your life.
