Just getting discussion rolling. His jokevote may be forced, but it could just be a different delivery style. So I'm not really suspicious of him yet, but I suppose it's a thing to consider.

I personally think neither are worth pursuing. But I like the discussion generation. Early townie points to you.

The vast majority of the games on this site have a closed setup, so you won't know any roles until someone flips.
The ratio is typically around 1 mafia for every 3-4 others. Indeps can be anywhere from 0 upwards, though 2 is typically the highest number you'll see in games this size.

I like how you're willing to claim straight away. I see that as a good sign @Zachie. However, I don't see why you don't need to claim your wincon if it's not dangerous. Even if you're a lyncher, we'd probably be fine with it and help you win. Jester, Survivor and sort of Lyncher are the only non-harmful ones, and Jester wouldn't claim (unless they're trying some elaborate plan).

Well, for now, I find it surprising that there's a claim already for an Independent role. Not sure if that's okay to do when it's too early in the day, but if he's non harmful, that'd be good.

I have to agree with Elementar on the claim, it's good that he claimed early but it would be nice to know a little more about the nature of the claim even if Zexy doesn't wish to claim in full.

OK I will make it clear that my wincon is custom and related to this game theme. Which is why I do not wish to reveal more before we know more about the setup. I am explicitly told I am not a factional indep though, can win with any faction.

Zexy's independent claim sounds legit, especially with what he said about his wincon. I can understand why he wouldn't claim it in that case...but I also am really curious on what it is.

MegaPod's attempt at generating discussion is nice to see, because any kind of discussion-generator is helpful and honestly pro-town.

Well I find Zexy's indep claim to be honest because they claimed it early and without any pressure on them.

I wonder out of the characters given to be present in the game, which one is most suitable to be an indep?
With the knowledge of the character, it could be a bit easier to figure out what kind of indep Zexy is.

I'm just putting this out there, but everyone (except ME, he really is this awesome) is wildly out of character. I'm not terribly sure how useful the flavour hunting's gonna be in this one.
