A more correct situation would be almost every country allowing every (pet) animal to enter, but PokéBritain refusing for some reason.

If I lived in a region that had, say as a theoretical, no Hydriegons and someone wanted to come in with a Hydriegon I would probably urge the government to not let in any hydriegons because Hydriegons are bug and scary and if one or two accidentally got out it would devistate the environment and the ecosystem having just introduced a very new and vary dangerous Pokemon that could potentially wack up the food chain.

I don’t think that many Legendaries would make it... The first games of the generation are usually light on them, with the next games becoming a legend-fest.

Yes usually the last games of a generation aim to provide tons of pokemon. Hgss, B2W2, ORAS, USUM etc

I'm not really sure I like the concept of Dynamax and Gigantamax... Mega Evolutions were the perfect boost imo.
Pokemon growing giant looks cool with Raichu, but with most Pokemon it feels weird. Even Raichu feels not-weird because of the bias of it being my favourite 'mon and getting some focus.

I'm honestly out for blood if Gigantamax Pikachu is better than Raichu.

I am expecting Pikachu to get 2 Gigantamax forms and Raichu to get 0.

I always preferred Raichu over Pikachu for some reason, but with my first game being Yellow, you can imagine my disappointment when I was stuck with Pikachu. xD

What if SW/SH adds a new Ditto kind of Pokémon, though, and Leon uses that and in the trailer it was just transformed into Charizard? I mean, it would surely add to your popularity if you had a Pokémon that can do that, you'll easily have every popular Pokémon by your side for nice shots for the fans.

That would be an unnecessary addition. Especially since they say there's already too many Pokémon.

What I don’t agree with, is asking for a delay. Either I’m missing something, or they didn’t know about Home being released in 2020, or someone wants to stir up people.

We already knew we wouldn’t have all the Pokémon in Galar for a few months. If they’ll announce that they’re going to work to update the games to have all Pokémon in it, we’d be in the same situation as before, only with waiting a bit more for it.

Of course a delay would help in having Home and all Pokémon at the same time as SwSh, but in this case why people didn’t complain at the news about Home 2020’s release?

The only other reason I can come up with for the delay request is that some people don’t believe it’s possible to update the games to have all Pokémon after release.

We're pokemon fans, of course we love their work. If we didn't love their work, we wouldn't be so upset about the dex thing.

You know, I was bored and tried to think of an in universe justification for dex limits, and I realized that a. You usually don't see every animal in the world in real life (heck, you usually don't see even 9/10ths as many animals as you would see in a Pokemon game) and b. It's really hard to get an animal into another country.

Doesn't really fit with Pokemon, though- it'd be a weird as heck situation in the pokemon-loving pokemon world to arrive at the Galar airport and suddenly have security telling you that you can't bring in your obediant level 1 Jigglypuff but your overleveled and disobedient Hydreigon is more than okay.

The only other reason I can come up with for the delay request is that some people don’t believe it’s possible to update the games to have all Pokémon after release.

I think this is the only reason why it would make sense to anyone, honestly.

An interesting thing would be to try to predict which pokemon will be in the game. I've done it and 444 pokemon will be in the game. With the cuts i've made,most of the fan favorite are there but also some not popular like dunsparce. I've tried to go with a game freak logic and that's what it gives me. Try to do it by yourselve now,we'll compare our results.As you can see most of kanto pokemon are in there....

It’s another matter if they think GF wouldn’t do dlcs because of their earlier statements, but I don’t think this is relevant at this point. If they’d change their stance on the Pokémon in Galar, dlcs are likely vastly preferred then a delay.

I’m not sure why people are trying to say that, bc galar is based in Europe, they’re only gonna have Pokémon based on European animals. They’ve never stuck to that before, and I really doubt they’re starting now

Those four mons already go against Gamefreaks logic that they want to only include mons in a region that makes sense for them.

However, out of the four i mentioned that don't fit, 2 are popular (Gyarados and Tyranitar) and 1 is semi-popular (Braviary) and one of the most popular mons of Unova and Tsareena is among the more popular Alola mons.

So despite Gamefreaks logic and mindset, it seems they cannot get rid of the popular mons and fan faves, which narrows the pool they can choose Pokemon from down even more.
