Pocket Monsters Music Festival to air on TV Tokyo next Friday, including a performance of Dokimeki Diary, the opening theme from the new Pokémon anime

A special Pocket Monsters Music Festival (アニメポケットモンスター音楽祭) will be airing next Friday on TV Tokyo at 6:55pm (JST), in the normal timeslot for the Pokémon anime. This hour-long special will feature a wide array of artists singing Pokémon opening and ending themes from the entire length of the series, including a performance of Dokimeki Diary (ドキメキダイアリー), the Japanese opening theme for Pokémon Horizons: The Series, which fans were given their first taste of earlier tonight in the newly released 2nd preview trailer.

The special will be presented by Japanese actor Kotaro Koizumi (小泉孝太郎), the eldest son of former Japanese Prime Minister Junichirō Koizumi, and Rika Adachi (足立 梨花), a Japanese tarento and actress who played the role of Merilyn Flame in Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction.

  • Yūki Iwai (岩井勇気) from the Japanese comedy duo Haraichi, who has been a regular on the Japanese children's breakfast television show Oha Suta since 2015
  • Kogaken, an owarai tarento
  • Nagisa Saito (齊藤なぎさ), an actress and former idol who recently graduated from the girl group =LOVE.
  • Chinozo, the well known Vocaloid producer best known for the hit song "Goodbye Sengen", and who collaborated with asmi on Dokimeki Diary
  • Japanese comedy duo Tosa Kyodai (土佐兄弟)
  • Toshiya Miyata (宮田俊哉), from the Japanese boyu band Kis-My-Ft2
  • Yuriyan Retriever (ゆりやんレトリィバァ), a singer and comedian who was a founding 1st Generation member of girl group Yoshimotozaka46.
