Just wanted to make a quick note about how TMs and HMs will work here. As we've seen from the bag sprites for TMs and HMs in the games, they seem to just be discs that contain the information for a move in them, and the TMs break after one use, plus we don't know the exact mechanics there since all we see are the discs and not the machine(s) themselves. However, here, things will be much simpler. Each TM can be used as many times as you'd like without breaking (honestly, that never made much sense, and I like how they got rid of that in gen V), and there is a very obvious machine for using them. And due to its size to accomodate any size Pokemon, I decided to throw in a little Dragon Ball reference, as the machine is carried inside a capsule, and by pressing the button on top and tossing it, the machine will appear in a large smoke cloud (large objects like bikes will also work with this mechanic), and the disc containing the move you want to teach is inserted into the slot. HMs are the same as TMs, but they also have a small code that requires you to also insert the badge that allows you to use that HM move outside of battle. Here, the badge is only needed to teach the HM move via HM (so if you get a Goldeen and it learns Waterfall on its own by level up, you don't need the Beacon Badge to gain access to Waterfall) and not to use it outside of battle (although the HMs will generally be received after gaining the badge needed to teach it). The badges even have a microchip in them that allows you to register them to your own Pokedex, and the machine not only requires the Pokemon to be outside of its Poke Ball when teaching it any move with it, but the Poke Ball, as they're also synched to the owner's Pokedex and permanently tied to it barring a trade, is also required to allow the teaching of the HM move to prevent someone from cheating with the HMs by only riding on one person's coatails and using them to teach your Pokemon HM moves. I hope this isn't too complicated a description, but if anyone can TL;DR it without removing too much useful info, that would be great, too.

Should we mention Midorikawa just to remind him to post?
