I noticed that some fans (shippers seem to be pretty guilty of this) depict legendaries in a bizzare or downright hilarious fashion.

Not suprisingly, the Mystery Dungeon Series and the movies depict the Legendaries in a much more regal and dignified way... Jirachi doesn't count (he acts like a five-year-old in his film and sounds like one!)

So what is the funniest or weirdest depiction of legendaries you have ever seen?

As for me:
  1. The Legendaries drinking coffee.
  2. Arceus apparently having a bedwetting problem (WTF?! And  ) (No, I didn't make that up!)
  3. Giratina with a Motorola Q2 phone
  4. Groudon getting drunk and on crack, singing Through the Fire and Flames
  5. Groudon stealing a Wii and some associated games from Blaine.
1,2,3 are from this story: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4280369/3/Rebellion_Starts_Tonight (Coffee scene)
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4280369/5/Rebellion_Starts_Tonight (Arceus and cellphone scene)

4 and 5 are from this story:

Well, I'm not sure about fanfiction, but pretty much anything on Bulbagarden that has to do with Palkia.

Actually the stories are quite funny (at least I think so).

Rebellion Starts Tonight starts off kind of "shippy" but later turns into an action-adventure story.

I'm guilty of making fun of legendaries. In a project I never got off the ground, Groudon was protecting a town from extreme weather being created by the villains. He's introduced sitting down next to a bench to read the sports sections and cheers because the Sun's kicked the Mariners' ass.

I think people do it as backlash against the series that makes them all seem godly and rather uninteresting. A legendary with its own quirks makes for better reading.

Some of the comics have shown Legendaries in a less-than-magestic light. Especially the 4koma comics, they loooooove making fun of Legendaries. And in Magical Pokemon Journey they did a double--poking fun at not only that but at people's perceptions of them (Clefairy and Pikachu went on a quest to find Articuno, and when they did, it ran a shaved ice shop and wore an apron. It was also running a contest where if someone ate 50 snow cones it'd grant them a wish).
