If we allow shinies, does anyone else think it would be a good idea to allow players to use the non shiny variant, as long as the shiny variant would match the rest of the team? Makes it a more viable strategy imo, without cheating or anything.

Yeah I'm thinking it increases the pool for possibilities.

If Veggietable goes with Orange then I will take Purple for now.

colors taken are listed on the first post,and as for shinies go i think the rule is the original species color but im going to say shinies go by shiny color not original just for simplicity.
 
Never wi-fi battled before (Pearl)

So, as the title says, I never battled on wi-fi before. I hope to make some good opponents.

Here are the rules:
-Level 100
-Single battle
-3 vs. 3 (EDIT: or 6 vs. 6, your choice)
-OU Pokemon (maximum tier)

Species, OHKO, Sleep, and Evasion clauses are in effect.
Right now, I'm only on the computer from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. (Pacific time), so please acknowledge that.
I don't IV breed my Pokemon, just so you know. I only EV trained my Porygon-Z (as I can recall).

Oh crud, i messed up! I thought I could select pokemon from the PC first. But wait, that's from Pt/HG/SS!

And why did you send out Jirachi? That's an uber, this is an OU battle.
And you have a shiny Starmie, nice.

Can we start over?

(oh yeah, I got a Jirachi from Gamestop, too)

So, I lost. I forgot to tell you that I'm a noob at competitive battles. I need more experience. I had fun seeing your pokemon, though.

Wi-fi battles are sloooow. Also, for competitive battling, do you need to IV breed or is it just for the more dedicated trainers?

And remember, have fun while you're battling, that's the point.

I think it was slow because voice-chat was left on.
