SV Leaks and/or Rumours Thread

Looks like something Cara Liss resurrected. Not sure if like or not, will have to see what the Dex entry says about its existence.
That’s why they gave her her name lmao
Poltchageist --- > Sinistcha

Also looks like Authentic and Phony forms are back too...
Wait what? Let me do some research on this

Trainers, if you look deeper into Centro tweets, he mentioned Ursaluna is a special individual that can only be caught (can't be evolved from Ursaring). And if you saw the leaked Kitakami dex, Ursaluna entry is a standalone since it does not come after Teddiursa and Ursaring (not in Kitakami dex).

My guess is that its the Pokemon Perrin is looking for.

It would be ridiculous to keep Ursaluna as an evolution that's exclusive to PLA (and GO) for too long, especially with Peat Blocks programmed into SV and Evolite actually boosting Ursaring. Also, I'm getting Manaphy verbs if Zombieluna can breed, but the resulting Teddiursa/Ursaring cannot evolve without being sent back to Hisui. Though given variant Pikachu and Battle Bond Greninja couldn't breed...

I could also imagine the outrageous demands in HOME if Zombieluna does turn out to be one-per-game only akin to Legendary Pokémon, with the only legit way to obtain more is if they appear in GO.

I thought of the same thing. Since Zombieluna seems to have it own dex entry and dex picture just before the loyal three. I think it would be cool if GF start doing this next gen, I'd like to call it the unique individuals of the species.

Also, typing and stat had been leaked on 4chan.

Zombieluna is Normal/Steel Mind's eye/Bulletproof HA Intimidate 135 145 110 20 85 55 Dipplin HA Gooey 90 95 80 95 70 55 Poltchageist and Sinistcha HA Weak Armor for unremarkable and Shell Armor for masterpiece Okidogi Poison/Fighting HA Guts 107 131 95 73 95 99 Munkidori Poison/Psychic HA Shadow Tag 125 71 87 119 87 111 Fezandipiti HA Serene Grace 93 109 73 145 73 107 Ogerpon Ghost/(Grass, Fire, Water, Rock) HP 115 with four stat 105 and 130 in one stat depend on the mask

Pon is a diminutive suffix.

Of course ogerpon would be a baby or a child

Came here to say I'm not sure if I like Zombieluna, or rather the precedent it or the idea of a unique Ursaluna sets if true

I get what they were trying to go for with it's design (Bloodmoon Ursaluna is probably a reference to the Sanbetsu bear incident of the early 20th century), but the design doesn't really work for me. The red moon on Ursaluna's head looks more like an open wound and the robotic eye comes utterly out of the blue given that no Pokédex entries nor design elements for any members of the Teddiursa line foreshadow this unless they're somehow trying to make a connection between Ursaring as they're depicted in the anime and murderous robots/androids that want to take over the world which is a bit of a stretch...

Zombieluna could also be the reference of another figure in Japanese fairy tales, Kintaro.

I have a few theories on the origins of the Bloodmoon Ursaluna, or Zombieluna as we've started to call them.
  1. They were originally a normal Ursaring, and were part of a botched experiment to revive their "lost evolution", or at least make it possible to evolve Ursaring without the need of Peat Blocks if they're very rare to find in the present day (and they're already rare during the events of PLA), resulting in so few evolutions that most people assume the Teddiursa line is two-stage.
  2. They're an elderly Ursaluna that's lived for centuries long after most Ursaring stopped evolving. They probably originated somewhere other than Kitakami. It doesn't explain their eye, however.
  3. They originated from a different dimension, likely brought into Kitakami by an Ultra Beast, Hoopa, or some unknown means.
  4. They came from Area Zero, somehow managing to get themself to Kitakami. After all, we're still not done with this location.
  5. Similar to Mewtwo, Genesect, and Type: Null/Silvally, they were created by unscrumptious scientists, likely by cloning or using the remains of a deceased Ursaluna, with the experiment going out of their control and leading to their escape. - This theory looks to be canon -
  6. They're merely a regional variant of Ursaluna, and regular Ursaring could later evolve into this form after a few updates.

Zombieluna is a cyborged taxidermised Ursaluna, possibly puppettered by that taxidermized specimen's soul
