Wow, just having a town called Moscow in Kansas is amazing!
There's an Athens in Texas. It's apparently the birthplace of the hamburger.Wow, just having a town called Moscow in Kansas is amazing!
Americans aren't very original when it comes to naming towns and cities. .-.
And one of our fifty states is called NEW MEXICO.
There's an Athens in Georgia, too. Hell, the state's name is Georgia.
Τhere is also Washington, District of Columbia
Again, that is a derivative name. There is no other place called Columbia.
Howof you! >:O
did you just ship me with vladimir fucking putinOnce upon a time Jabberwocky went to Russia to see his idol Fabulush and along the way, stopped at ol' Fabby's neighbour Vladimir Putin's house. His house was always odd, last year it was made out of ceramic but this year he went for a tasteful mozzeralla design. The cheese on the roof overflowed dripping on to the windows, and finally caught in a catcher's mitt. Jabber walked in, Putin didn't believe in the oppressive power of Western door bells, and said "Hello Putin." Putin looked at him with a cold Russian stare, analyzing his deceitful Western body. "Vat do you vant?" barked Putin as he donned his wizard robes. Putin was setting out to play in a game of Quidditch, Russia's second favourite national pass time, after drinking of course.- Quidditch
- Vladimir Putin's house
- cheese
- a catcher's mitt
- a corpse flower
What a strange class.
Jabber smiled at the old Rusky. Underneath his winter jacket and scarf, he too was wearing wizard robes, and inside his shopping bag was a broom.
And they lived happily ever after. The End.
Well, except this flower by Fabby's grave. She died of loneliness.
Indeed. You can't really expect a country whose entire population are immigrants to have much original content. People named settlements after stuff they remember from home. This also applies to Canada and Australia and anywhere that was a former colony. We Americans aren't very original when it comes to naming towns and cities. .-.
