I'm not much of a fan of sports series (especially not volleyball because I used to play volleyball and had a decidely not great relationship with my teammates so I'm especially sour towards that particular sport), so Haikyuu's not really of interest to me, but the PowerPuff Girls series might be worth a try, the I kinda like the artstyle and from my limited knowledge of it it might be something interesting to me.

I'd think so! I think there are probably plenty of people who would appreciate having a list of recs and/or a place to ask, and I don't think there's one currently? I'd have to check the animanga section.

Alright so I'm not seeing anything that quite seems like an anime recs thread, there's a favorite anime thread and a thread for sharing anime lists but I do think a recs thread could have a distinct place in the section.

Probably the best way to handle it I can come up with is to include a list of some recs in the OP and make it so people can share any of their reccomendations or ask for any reccomendations. It'd probably be good to have a system to organize the list by but I'm not sure whether it'd be better to do so by demographic (shonen/shoujo/seinen/etc) or by genre?

These turned out really good! Didn't have any issues with being dry like some other things I've baked, the texture is exactly how I wanted and they taste great.
 
Spent today with my mom, little siblings, and cousin fishing. Little sibs and cousin caught lots of fish; my younger brother even managed a couple bass. I didn't get shit till we were almost leaving though-- only one all day. I don't mind too much; it was pretty nice out and I got to spend a lot of the time reading. I'm reading a book called The Girl With All The Gifts which is a zombie apocalypse book that does not make a point of actually telling you you're reading a zombie apocalypse book until you've actually started reading the zombie apocalypse book. This is probably a good thing in my case because I do not often read zombie apocalypse books so I might not have picked it up if it was less vague on that, but I actually sorta like its take? The main character is a zombie who's been a zombie most of her life but doesn't realize she's a zombie because unlike normal zombies she can actually think and stuff and also she's part of a research project to try and find a cure due to her and some ither kid having some partial immunity to the zombie fungus. The zombie fungus is also a very mutated version of that zombie-ant fungus which is a smaller thing but I like using that instead of a vaguely defined virus so that's cool. (They also don't use the word zombie they use hungry but whatever.) It's kind of an interesting book at least to me.

I also made bread yesterday! I think I left it in the oven a little too long, the crust got really hard and when I cut it it all kinda crumbled really easy. But it wasn't too bad, it still tasted fine and aside from being crumbling the inside texture was pretty good. Making bread is a lot waiting, when I started I was expecting it to take about as long as like muffins or pizza but then yeast got involved and I had to let it rise for like two hours because that's how bread is.
Didn't get any pictures of this because my phone was dead when I finished it unfortunately.

Anywho, hi. I'm looking at hopefully doing an art stream on YouTube later today? Idk if that's something any of y'all would be interested in but I've been thinking about doing something like that for a little while now and I wanna try it cause it seems like it might be fun. I don't have super solid plan atm, just kinda gonna go on and draw and talk and stuff I guess. I'm currently looking at like 5 PM CST? But if anyone's interested who can't make that time it should be easy enough to change, just let me know. Once I get it started I'll post the link in here.
 
Alright so unfortunately YouTube's livestream permission request is taking a bit longer to go through than expected. This is on me for not setting this up more ahead of time, sorry. I might have to move this back to tomorrow? Sorry. Hopefully the same time'll still work though?
 
Alright livestream permission went through and I did some testing and it seems too work! ...albeit with a bit of delay on both visual and audio unfortunately, but I think it's the best I'm gonna get for the moment. Still shooting for 5 PM CST tonight.
