I always called it Poke. Simple and easy to say.

But sometimes I might feel like calling it PokeYen...
 
I just say Dollars. I would possibly say PokeDollars except that makes me have to use 2 extra syllables, in which I'm too lazy to say.
 
I alwayes called it PokeDollars,. I really think somone needs to ask what it really is in pokemon.com's mailbag.
 
I always just refer to it as either X-amount of money or just alot of/ not much money.
 
You know something else that bugs me? When people treat "pyen" (yeah, that's what I call it. I'm the only one who's voted for that option, woot ^_^) as American/Canadian dollars.

There was one person who said that 500 pyen was a lot. Um... no it ain't? You'd barely be able to buy three chocolate bars for that much money.

Okay, so... there's a very heavy bias towards "Poké", "PokéDollars", and "Dollars". o_O

In the anime, they called it "dollars" once, in the second episode of the original Indigo League series - Professor Oak said that he had a million-dollar bet with Gary that Ash would have caught a Pokémon by the time he got to Viridian City.

Surprisingly, nobody seems to be calling it by its "official" name, as it appeared in Colosseum and XD and that Bulbapedia takes to be the official name: the first option, "Pokémon Dollars".

Also, in that same episode Ash's restaurant bill was in yen (changed to dollars). It's part of the Americanization of the show.

I do believe they just took the yen sign away and left just the number. I remember that it was 500 plus something to give 600.

*edit* Oh, wait, no, now that I watch it again, it was 550 plus 600. I never noticed the dollar sign.

I remember this as a childhood memory - Ash said he didn't need Misty's help and so Misty left him with the bill. Pwned.

In the same episode, they had prices of rocks in pyen.

I call it pokedollars, or sometimes just money when I'm talking to my friends.
 
Those are some funny names on the poll since I know at least a couple of them come from some other franchise.:XD2:
I call them PokeDollars simply because that's what they're called in Colloseum and XD. I know you already pointed them out, but I don't know for sure if the currency in the other games really is different than what it is in those games. While in the anime, they are just Yen, Dollars, or wherever the country happens to be.
 
I just call it Poke. Seems like an basic easy name for money, although PokeDollars would work too.
 
I just refer to it by the monetary value. Like if asked how much a Pokéball costs, I'd say two-hundred.
 
I call it PokéDollars, or simply Dollars since I say that for any fictional currency in video games.

Yea thats actually true. I wouldn't say dollars unless someone asked, "200 what?" then i would say dollars i suppose.
