I wonder if James met the Yamask in those episode, cause the randomness of the capture is throwing me off a bit.
 
The Whiscash episode was a filler, so while it would've been great to see it, we didn't lose anything from not seeing it.

The TR/TP episode is a major plot hole so they sorta have to air it. I'll bet that if it was a regular episode they might've gotten skipped, so their importance to the continuity gave them a reprieve.

They have confirmed that they will be airing the Rocket vs Plasma episodes

What did TV Tokyo even say about it? All I've seen is an ANN article on it.

If you read their whole statement you'd see they said it would air later. I don't know why people are only focusing on this one sentence.
 
Why do I have a feeling we'll never see these episodes....They obviously don't care about plotholes since they went right ahead and aired the next episode anyway. These two awesome episodes, unfortanately, we'll most likely be skipped entirely along with BW026...I'm thoroughly disappointed I've been waiting for these epidodes for over a month... And I really wanted to see the fishing one too...They had to skip the good ones. I know nothing's been confirmed and I'm being really pessimistic but, really does anything ever get played after it's been "postponed" does anyway have an example???

They can't just put the show on hiatus. That'd be a stupid move financially.

And why do people not believe TV Tokyo when they say they'll air them? Why would they lie about that? This isn't America. If the Japanese had no intention of ever airing these episodes, they'd disappear forever along with the other banned ones.

I hope they don't, it's just IMO they will. And what's the United States got to do with anything? What are we known liars or something???

I just mean American networks promise to air things but never do a lot. But if TV Tokyo wanted to ban these episodes they wouldn't even acknowledge their existence. Instead they're reminding us all the time that they'll air.
 
How do we know it was just postponed at first? Was there ever an official statement to back it up or did everyone just assume?

To be fair, that Whiscash episode was apparently a filler and it made no difference weither it was shown or not.

This arc on the other hand was promoted alot from at least two months and was supposed to be a very plot heavy.

Discarding it leaves a gaping plothole, especially in Team Rocket's unusual behavoir.

I'm still wondering how they'll explain it. Future episodes will probably need to be deticated to covering up the abcense of them...

Keep in mind though, now that the Pokémon company is working under one roof, it wouldn't be too far fetched if there really was a Pokémon episode that manages to air worldwide before airing in it's home country (It actually has happened before with other cartoons).

EDIT: I'm also wondering if this means that Team Plasma won't appear in the anime at all now, to be honest, after seeing how very unlikeable they are in the games, I won't exactly miss them.

TPCi doesn't mean squat. It's there to bridge the companies across the world for easy communication and game translation. ShoPro isn't part of the Pokemon Company unless there's something I missed.

Dogasu illustrated that in order for the Anime episodes to go overseas, TV-Tokyo have to air it first. So basically it's:
ShoPro->TV-Tokyo->TPCi
That's all there is to it.
 
I like it how we're comparing an un-aired filler episode to an yet-to-be-aired episode that's anything but filler. Personally it would have been amusing to be reactions if this happened to be a Badge episode.

Judging by the title, "The Battle of the Shaking Island! Dojotchi vs. Namazun!!", that episode was never aired because it was centered heavily on earthquakes on an island (sound familiar?). Haven't been watching the anime lately, but I don't think this Rocket-dan vs. Plasma-dan episode will cause bad memories of Japan's recent 8.9 earthquake and tsunami. Not to mention, it would be horribly confusing when we see the continuation of the subplot.
