The_Pikachu Has been more active than some others in this game so why her? Plenty have posted less yet you target one of the newest players with no good reason other than she seems like a fence sitter. How is she supposed to reply to that?

I can only go with my first reads since we know nothing right now. Shortly after Ben (if that's the name we are going with) posted that scummy comment about taking out the experienced players, almost everyone was quick to question it and place a vote on him. The_Pikachu basically said that they were gonna wait until day 2 to vote and offered no opinion/seem to basically ignore what was being discussed at that moment. I just found that a really odd thing to do, instead of join in with the rest of us in being suspicious of that very scummy statement, it seemed to me like he was trying to avoid having an opinion on it. People who lack assertion and try to avoid making calls, are often scum trying to stay under the radar.

Furthermore, no lynch on D1 is annoying and though I'm not convinced of TP status either way, if I didn't cast a vote at all, I would feel like a hypocrite when I point out later that failing to lynch on D1 annoys me. I'm going with the second person that has struck me as acting strangely.

I do think Ben is much better target but as Stuntology pointed out, if he is cleared with a cop check, he could be useful assuming the mafia are scared of the bomb going off on them. I'm digressing so much but Peter Pan made some good points against not lynching him. We can't guarantee he will be checked tonight either.

Yes it's not unreasonable, but it's completely counterproductive and dangerous to the Town to automatically dismiss someone because they are new. Being new doesn't make someone automatically Town. That's the reason why I think Bluestoise is the best candidate for a lynch.

My vote stands.

However, I would agree with a The_Pikachu wagon for info in the case that nobody else sees my reasoning behind voting for Zexy.

I did not mean ro dismiss anyone, sorry. I just thought that it would be good to have a confirmed townie, even if it came from a slipup.
No, it doesn't, but that question made it a bit more possible. I still said that she may be a really manipulatory scum, after all.

Overall, I did it to spark conversation. It did not work, since we got other things to talk about and some people did not think of that as a good clue.

48 isn't that long for a day phase and is actually a nice size because sometimes someone can't get on.
I for example will literally be gone from 10-10 tomorrow and every Tuesday.

Because I still think not Lynching on D1 is a bad idea, and The_Pikachu seems a bit off.


Also I'd just like to point out that the reason I voted for Volkner. is because the Mafia Games I tend to play start off by Lynchng the inactives, due to them possibly slipping things nder pressure and forcing them to post, and otherwise getting rid of somebody who wouldn't play anyway (I also forgot Subs can join mid-game but eh).

Also, in the event of a tie, a No Lynch happens. Just for the sake of the new players, I'm sure plently of you already knew this.

Okay, I've looked through the thread and I don't think I saw a reason for people to be voting dirkrac? I don't think they've posted, right? I mean, I guess if we all think they will be inactive then I suppose if you want a lynch then that's the way to go but I am genuinely curious.

Another person I've taken note of is בן פורת. I don't think they are showing any real scum-reads. Of course, a cop check could potentially clear up what alignment they are although the possibility of a godfather is still present. The bomb claim is slightly worrying though, since I've seen that being fakeclaimed a lot for a person if they are mafia. It's the way to go, so people will be hesitant to vote you.

@Momoka; This is the reason for dirkac which is more than CF's since really a new player being neutral on day one. Not that scummy. However dirkac goes after the only one not to confirm their role, and generally that tends to mean things like the fact that they most likely won't come in to defend themselves and if you're mafia easily taking out a townie D1. He said it was because he usually lynches them because they don't contribute but the player hadn't confirmed and thus if not confirmed by the end of the phase then their role is given to a sub. Also the fact that he chose to vote The_Pikachu when he says he's in favor of a NL D1. Yet before that he was trying to lynch Volkner. That in itself is contradictory. If you prefer NL then why not stick to it?

I really don't think that either drikrac or thepikachu are mafia, but I think it's better to lynch someone who said 'i'll just wait till tomorrow' than someone who voted an inactive player.

As it is, the votes are tied (I think) which I'd be happy with.
