Mafia Chaos Mafia: Day 8 - American Bad

Re: Chaos Mafia: Day 1 - Revenge of the Killer Bunny

I feel like people are just throwing around silly reasons right now. That being said, I do think it would be smart to pressure someone by tossing a few votes on them to lynch to get them to talk a bit. So far we have a vote on... foreign characters person and Life. I don't see any reason whatsoever for foreign characters person, and flimsy reasoning for Life.

That being said, flimsy reasoning is better than no reasoning, so... Vote: Life

Yay random voting bandwagons!

Re: Chaos Mafia: Day 1 - Revenge of the Killer Bunny

I think it's a bit too early for a potential lynch

I thought those were joke posts in the first place

Re: Chaos Mafia: Day 1 - Revenge of the Killer Bunny

I agree with Dragelsnart.

TheProtobabe's early post has a contradiction in it, she is thinking the reasoning for the votes is silly but wants to pressure said people nonetheless.
Although pressure voting might be a regular strategy for her, she is a new player in this site after all.

A vote isn't permanent until the day is over. Pressuring with voting to lynch is a viable tactic in these kinds of games, and I think it's smarter to test people for their reactions than just to mill about doing nothing.

Re: Chaos Mafia: Day 1 - Revenge of the Killer Bunny

What's suspicious is that you find me posting first suspicious. Maybe you knew someone else was going to post first? Do you have a plan already? Clearly you're not with the town.

Accusing me of not being with town just because I find the first poster suspicious, is in itself suspicious. While goign first is not really suspicious, making a post about someone that found you suspicious just because you voted first, and saying they're not town is.

But if you didn't think that posting first is suspicious, why vote me? That's even more suspicious to me.

Unvote: 蜃気楼

Indeed, some people in this site pressure vote a lot, just wanted to know if you do so as well.
I understand the reasoning behind it although I am an optimist who thinks people will eventually talk without the need of extra votes on them.

Re: Chaos Mafia: Day 1 - Revenge of the Killer Bunny

The thing that makes me suspicious is the fact that you took an obvious joke vote seriously. @Life;

What did you think I would have do say/talk about? The game has barely started, so there isn't really much to say.

My apologies, then. Perhaps I'm just being a little... chaotic. :044:

Jack seems defensive, FoS: Jackatlasred

I think the mass name claim is a good idea. The Mafia would probably lie though, but maybe it'd help. Though @Zexy;, what if someone's name reflects their role, and they don't want to reveal it?

If the mafia were to lie, some townies will realize that the characters they sent in to Flop are missing.
I understand, but the very reason I suggested it is so that it might be easier to confirm future claims if we know that they fit the character said player nameclaimed early on.

Anything. Why you aren't Mafia, why you think someone else could be Mafia, your thoughts on who might be Town, whether or not we should name-claim (which is up for debate right now).

On that topic, I feel that name-claiming is a bad idea. People can try to say someone's Mafia from certain characters and it would give Mafia something to jump on and cast suspicion on Town. However, it could be a last-resort type thing if someone with an important role is pressured. Though without proof, it would still be up for debate and Mafia could still turn that in their favor.

Re: Chaos Mafia: Day 1 - Revenge of the Killer Bunny

@Zexy;
That's what I thought at first, so I knew it'd rule out some people. Though, I think I'll name claim to you, I trust you.

Flopunny explained early on that each character will get a role assigned, then the alignments will be assigned RANDOMLY.
So even if my character was the biggest villain around there is no confirmation that the person who got it is mafia.

What do you mean that Life takes the joke vote seriously?

From what I see he just simply put a first vote... maybe just a joke vote maybe mafia try to joke vote.

Also random bandwagon is sooo anti town..

vote:the protobabe

With this I agree with life, there could be potential names that could partake to roles. This could mean that there's abb obvious character that is cop, one that is doctor, and could potentially kill out PR. But I'd everyone does it I'll do it as well.

Re: Chaos Mafia: Day 1 - Revenge of the Killer Bunny

HOLD IT!
from what I've seen so far, the only votes are for life and the protobabe.
I want to nameclaim now, because remember that name=/=alignment
therefore, I will claim my name but NOT my role.
I am phoenix wirght: ace attorney, in case no one guessed by those first 2 words.

Re: Chaos Mafia: Day 1 - Revenge of the Killer Bunny

It looked like both jackatlasred and Life's initial posts about each other were jokes, but then here it sounds like Life was actually serious, in which case I find that a bit strange since it makes Life's first response to jack come off as a bit defensive.

What about jack seemed more defensive than Life? I see it the other way around more than anything.

About nameclaiming, the one thing I worry about is that somebody will slip up and accidentally break a rule. Like, saying they trust something because they picked that character and they know them well or something and inadvertently getting modkilled. xy mafia has made me scared of modkills However, it could be useful in thinking about abilities at least, so I'd be in favor of it.
