tbh i have to agree with joe/serebii, i think it's too early for gen 8 too.
all gens so far are at least 3 years old, can't see gen 7 being only 2 years.
my guess if we getting something this year it's likely kanto stuff, but if it's 2019 so gen 8.

But all the gen 7 pokemon have already been reveled
Plus, im already tired of alola.
I honestly thing gen 7 was just a filter gen for the anniversary. That can explain the lack of new fossils and lack of new pokemon. Even after you beat Usum their still isn't much to do

That literally means nothing. All Reggie was saying is that the Pokemon game will be like how all Pokemon games are where your goal is to "find, battle, and train". That doesn't mean the game won't be different in other ways. The game can be disruptive in other ways. Those three things were never going anywhere anyway. Also it's just PR talk. It's the most generic thing he could say.

Exactly the same situation as Sun/Moon and Masuda. Chinese Leaks are Fake because Masuda said there would always be Gyms... We know how that turned out

Other than a new region (obviously), all of those could happen in an old region to some extent. At least don't compare that option to USUM.

generations have been getting shorter and shorter. Nobody expected 7th gen in the lead up to s/m yet it happened. I semi-agree with you in that it feels to early for gamefreak to put out another batch of pokemon but then why did they reveal Zeraora so early?

Although I doubt any of this is true, here's my swing at it:

The Canuck Riddler says the Seal's Location is a hint and the Mascots will be Fujin and Raijin and that one is a Lie:

Fuijin and Raijin are already Pokémon.

The Seal is probably the Harp Seal specifically:

They've had a yearly mythical ever since 2006 (technically 2003, but 2005 broke the streak). If anything, they revealed Zeraora later than you'd expect in the event of a new generation.

But I do expect a small batch of new critters, anyway. No doubt with another mythical or two.

He don't have any information, i think he just want attention nothing more.
Even lets say hes working in nintendo not every workers in nintendo becomes information about the games it's the very small group of staff.
nintendo or gamefreak isn't stupid and let leak their own games.
i personally won't believe these fake leakers until nintendo announce it.

Except a good example is the USUM wishlist leak. Names out in the wild 3 months before the game was out with the user name as USUM.
Sure got things wrong as Alolan forms but no leaks is ever 100% but got Rainbow rocket, new UBS, Lusamine takes a chill pill, Necrozma forms, bet they won't cut the camera BS, on the 3DS despite the giant stars rumor.

Leaks are going to happen and I am willing to bet one has slipped through but didnt want the attention.

you're right about the zeraora reveal too. I was thinking if there truly wasn' t a generation this year, I feel like they would've waited till towards the end of the year to show it, but then it wouldnt've been in M21.
