So... still 2018 or later. Confirms nothing, since with 2018, Nintendo/GF can mean their fiscal year of 2018, which goes into 2019.
2018 means 2018. "or later" means 2019. Anyway, I've always said they wouldn't have simply told us the new release date through the investors meeting report.

It seems the new fire emblem and yoshi are 2018 releases according to the new release dates so that should keep us amused if Pokémon is pushed to a 2019 release lol

2019 looks like a huge year with Metroid and Bayonetta though.

Now, considering that FE, Smash and Pokemon need to be announced yet, do you really think Nintendo will announce all of them at e3? I mean the first reveal trailer of these 3 titles at E3? You can even play Smash at E3...imo it's not impossible to think that a new direct will be released at some point in May.

Doubtful, especially for FE. Pokemon and Smash together will be fine, but FE will not get that much attention because of the other 2 bigger franchises.

I am also starting to doubt they release anything Pokemon related before the movie airs if the movie doesn't have a new Pokemon, since it will make the movie pointless and it can actually hurt the sales.

Haven’t they already revealed Smash in a trailer?

If Nintendo wants to win e3 this year they just only have to show Pokémon and they instantly win.

But if they showcase smash, yoshi, FE, and the upcoming 2019 games they easily have this won. It’s acuslly fairly exciting stuff tbh

If Pokémon switch is 2019, it likely won’t be past March. Their sales forecast for the fiscal year is pretty telling. I’m interested to see if kimishima’s replacement says anything at the meeting. Should be interesting given his ties with pokemon

I don't think that this is gonna happen. Smash will destroy Pokemon and I don't think that GF wants that.

Do you see how many games, merchandise, movies, and tv shows that Smash has generated compared to Pokemon? Yep, that's what I thought.

"Sinking the land into the sea" or "lighting the land on fire". Did Team Aqua and Magma come out of retirement or...

Well hai thar Mr. President sir.

Really? Anyone wants to start the 2018 vs 2019 discussion? I miss it from like 8 hours ago...

Oh heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll to the no.

I’m now at that point were I’m not even interested in knowing anything for Pokemon Switch until the release date. I think I’m better of just forgetting it’s even coming

Your seriously still underestimating FE.....one of their major IPs not only from their successful boons from Awakening/Fates also their big success in FE Heroes that's making them ALOT of money they will get enough attention to do success as usual (well keep in mind the content I'm expecting from the game to lead to another successful title).

In the past, FE didn't have to compete with Smash and Nintendo in the same timestamp. Thats the difference right now.

It’s all money and focus on the Nintendo switch

Doesn’t matter if FE, DK, Metroid or some random remake or HD port lol

It’s clear that Pokémon is the new power title for E3 though unless a new Zelda / Mario title / spin off makes its way last minute.

If Nintendo intends to win E3, it will need stuff to show.

Well times obviously change plus its not even a battle its all about making money from the fans of these big series.

True, but FE sales will be hurt by both Smash and Pokemon, since those are the 2 more popular series. I am talking for myself right now, but i play all three series, if i have to choose (Which i have to, since i don't have the funds to by all of them at once), then i choose Pokemon and Smash over FE. And there is a possibility more people think that way.
