I don‘t like it when companies announce their games too early. I really liked that part with nintendo, as way almost always announce their games late in the production. Not like square enix for example which announces games too early and then doesn‘t deliver any news about it. Then why announce it, if you don‘t have anything to talk about. That‘s why i also didn‘t like it last year when i watched e3, where gamefreak announced the games so early, just because of some fans crying over ultra games.
 
I'm pretty sure Game Freak want to avoid information droughts after announcing their game. It happened after SM got announced back in February 2016 with such a long waiting time for some actual news.

Yeah, I think they were pressured in announcing it so early because of the 20th anniversary. It kind of bit them in the butt because all the news we got was always such a small trickle of information.

People would be talking about the first Switch Pokemon games, anyway. The only difference is that there would be some minimal doubt as to Game Freak moving onto the Switch.

Outside of registered domains/potential game names, we don't know anything about these games. I could see urgency on GF's part if details of the actual game had leaked, but it's nothing but rumor.

I am willing to bet we'll be waiting for E3 for the official reveal.

Still wondering what was up with the date on the calendar then. If it was Eevee travelling to another company, then we would've seen something like that by now
 
Just watched Gamexplains recent video about "only the orignal 151 Pokemon in let's go from Real Leaks rumor" I'm not surprised if that's the case plus hopefully it'll be like BW1 with only original to their region in the main story then the rest opens up postgame(well I hope for the latter) or this is very disappointing...RIP my chance of getting an Eeveelution that's not Gen 1 or any Gen 1 Pokemon that got Pre/Evolutions later Gens.....at least Jolteon is still great BUT still possible that Eevee or Pikachu won't evolve to make it even more "authentic".

If riolu is not in the game they're not getting my money, unless he's talking about only until you beat the league like in BW.

This would be utter bull. I remember complaining about Pokemon GO only being Generation I and everyone told me down like "Well, it's just a mobile game. The developers can't do everything at once, give them time." That was the only reason I ever heard for them doing that.

Now all of the sudden we're talking about it happening in a mainline game, and it's just utterly ridiculous. And I see people on other forums embracing this and saying that "This is a reboot, they can add Pokemon later in expansion packs", like it's something acceptable to happen in a mainline game. It's NOT. Do people really want non-Gen I Pokemon hidden behind waits and paywalls? There's no excuse for this.

I’m usually super optimistic and positive about game freak and pokemon

But this games from Rumors sound like a huge ass cash grab with minimal effort for people who don’t even play pokemon no more

Casuals are biggest graphics fans. They will be disappointed. It’s mindbogging how stupid this game sounds
