I think you can as long as Chapter 11 goes a different route. There should be plenty of action going on in Chapter 10 before the end, so it will be broken up at least.

It wasn't a downer ending. It was just emotional, which is good. I think it will be fine, but obviously you know better since its your fic after all haha

I answered in the thread, but let me add: I think if you have enough to make a "9.5" and still make that chapter good on its own, I say do it. But if not, just allow the action at the end of a long Capter 10 be like a nice reward for reading the chapter
