My point is that the U.S. is also a very diverse area despite being only one country, so lumping the entire country into one Pokemon region doesn't really do the U.S. justice in the same way that representing Europe with just France doesn't do Europe justice. The fact that one area is one country while another is multiple countries doesn't really matter, there's enough variety both culturally and geographically for them to make at least 5 or 6 distinct regions.

What are you saying? That you want another Poke-America region? Or you're miffed that I had an idea that doesn't include America but does include Europe? You don't see every user south of the Equator bashing me, do you? Personally i don't think the next region will be based on England, and there are tons of areas from the Southern hemisphere full of rich diverse inspiration. It doesn't stop me from thinking about what it would be like. It's not like i have Sugimori's personal phone number and i'm going to absolutely convince him of anything.
