Don't miss this week's Team GO Rocket Takeover event in Pokémon GO, from March 27th to 31st

Team GO Rocket are back to their old tricks this Easter, with the latest Team GO Rocket Takeover event, World of Wonders: Taken Over, launching in Pokémon GO this week, starting Wednesday March 27th at 12:00am local time, and concluding Sunday March 31st at 11:59pm local time.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active throughout the event:

• Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons
• Trainers can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration

Additionally, PokéStop Showcases for event-themed Pokémon will be running throughout the event period at different PokéStops.

Timed, Field and Special Research
Free Event-themed Timed Research and Field Research will be available for this Team GO Rocket Takeover. Trainers completing the Timed Research will earn a selection of items; while Trainers completing the Field Research tasks will receive Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Both will also award encounters with a selection of different event-themed Pokémon.

Trainers will also be able to purchase access to event-exclusive Timed Research from the in-game store for US$2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Completing these tasks will award Trainers with the following rewards:

• Six Mysterious Components
• One Super Incubator
• One Rocket Radar
• An encounter with Pawniard

The ticket can be purchased until March 30th at 11:59pm local time. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before March 31st, at 11:59pm local time.

Finally, Trainers will also have access to a new edition of the recurring Special Research Story involving Team GO Rocket. By completing this Special Research, Trainers can earn a Super Rocket Radar to locate and battle Giovanni, who this time will be taking control of a Shadow Groudon. This Special Research will be available to claim until the end of the current Pokémon GO: World of Wonders Season on June 1st at 9:59am local time.

Event Bundles in the in-game shop and Web Store
A Team GO Rocket Box will be available for purchase from the in-game shop during this event for 300 Pokécoins. This box will come with 1 Incubator, 1 Rocket Radar, and 1 Premium Battle Pass.

Additionally, the Pokémon GO Web Store will be offering its own special Team GO Rocket bundle for $US9.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This bundle will include 7 Rocket Radars, 7 Premium Battle Passes, 7 Ultra Balls, and 7 Silver Pinap Berries.

New Avatar Pose for purchase
The Poké Ball Throw Pose, which was previously available as a reward for Paid Timed Research in the Taken Treasures Team GO Rocket Takeover event in January, is being made available for purchase from the in-game shop starting from this event. This avatar pose will remain available to purchase after the event has ended.
