Get ready to hatch hordes of Cleffa with the upcoming Cleffa Hatch Day in Pokémon GO — Extended event bonuses start from Friday April 26th

Earlier this week, Niantic announced details regarding the next Pokémon GO Hatch Day, which features the Star Shape Pokémon, Cleffa. The main event will be held on Sunday April 28th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time, with extended bonuses starting two days before on Friday April 26th at 10:00am local time.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active between 2:00pm and 5:00pm local time on April 28th:

• Cleffa will hatch more frequently from 2 km eggs
• Trainers will have an increased chance of hatching Shiny Cleffa from Eggs
• 2 km Eggs will drop more frequently from PokéStops
• 2× Candy from hatching Eggs

The following additional bonus will be available ahead of the event day starting on April 26th at 10:00am local time, running through to the end of the event on April 28th at 5:00pm local time:

• 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during this time
• Trainers will be able to spin Photo Discs at PokéStops during the event to receive event-themed Field Research tasks. Trainers who complete these tasks will receive Stardust and XP as rewards.

Free and Paid Timed Research
Free event-exclusive Timed Research will be available during this event, rewarding Trainers with a Super Incubator and XP when completed.

Trainers will also be able to purchase Paid Timed Research for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). The tasks associated with this paid Timed Research, which involves hatching an Egg and walking 2km, will be available at the start of Cleffa Hatch Day. Completing these tasks will award Trainers with a Star Piece, a Super Incubator, and XP. Trainers who purchase this Timed Research will also receive an additional bonus of 2× Hatch Stardust during the event hours.

Both the free and paid Timed Research will be available starting from April 28th at 2:00pm local time. The tasks associated with both the free and paid Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before April 28th at 5:00pm local time.

Event Bundles in the in-game shop and Web Store
A Hatch Box bundle will be available for purchase from the in-game shop for 925 PokéCoins from April 26th at 10:00am local time. This box will come with 5 Super Incubators, 5 Basic Incubators, and 2 Lucky Eggs.

Additionally, the Pokémon GO Web Store will be offering its own Ultra Hatch Box for $US19.99(or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This bundle will include 15 Super Incubators, 10 Basic Incubators, and 5 Poffins.
