Team Alpha and Team Omega. Two exploration teams, but they have been fierce rivals since they were formed. Founded by two brothers, a sibling rivalry soon escalated into just short of a war. In the instance that the two teams collided, the results were catastrophic. Throughout the years, they have both attempted to assert their hold as the best exploration team in the land, as well as finding a way to neutralize the opposing team. The two teams are now recruiting new members.

The Teams
Team Alpha
The more good-natured of the two teams, Team Alpha was founded and is currently run by Galahad, a Gallade with a strong sense of justice and honor. They make their base at the top of a hill overlooking the nearby town. The base itself is a tower, with numerous floors and balconies, spiraling into the sky.
Team Omega
Easily the more violent and brute of the two, this team was founded by Lancelot, a morally questionable Bisharp with a bit of a superiority complex and a condescending demeanor. The base goes into a ditch on the opposite side of town as Team Alpha's headquarters. The base itself is a completely underground structure, with lookouts positioned on the surface. The base has underground tunnels connecting various buildings.

Rules
1. No godmodding. This includes auto-hitting, and character-jacking.
2. No excessive violence.
3. Relationships are allowed, but keep it appropriate.
4. No legendary Pokemon.
5. Do not harass your fellow RPers.
6. In the event that you break one or more of these rules, you will be given a warning. If the rule-breaking escalates, you will be booted.
7. If you have read these rules, understand these rules, and agree to these rules, place "Beginnings and Endings" somewhere in your sign-up.

Surprising you're going to play a good guy... Anyway, here it goes...

Name: Moon
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Species: Gardevior
Team: Alpha

Appearance: Looks like an average Gardevior except she has blue eyes and a thin scar from the corner of her eye to her jaw line.

Personality: Moon would be thought to be distant and cold but she's really just trying to protect herself. When you really get to know her, she opens up but doesn't want to start telling you her life story. But a little thing is, she is very slow in conversations. Strong willed and stubborn are her other flaws.

History: Apparently, her parents abbandoned her and left her to die. An old Ambipom took her in and raised her. One day, a pack of theives raided the small home and killed the Ambipom. Moon had run away and form that day, she swore to protect all who could not protect themselves.

Other: Moon believes in destined beginnings and endings for some odd reason...

Appearance: Nothing out of the ordinary, really.

Personality: As stated before, Galahad has a strong sense of justice and honor. He has made it his duty to keep civilians out of harm's way, and to keep evildoers at bay. He can be fairly strict at times, but he is really a nice person. He doesn't like hiding behind the scenes, letting others do his work. And in social situation, he speaks with eloquent words and a light-hearted tone.

History: Galahad spent almost the entirety of his life with his brother, Lancelot. The two lived in a secluded abode, situated in a nice, calm field. Oftentimes, the family went to the nearby town to run errands or do other business. And sometimes, they came across someone who was in trouble. Galahad always attempted to help the person in need. Being part of the Ralts evolution line definitely helped, due to him being able to sense other people's emotions.

However, throughout the years, Galahad and Lancelot's ideals and beliefs began to clash. In the beginning, they were just heated arguments. But they soon intensified into outright brawls. Galahad, being who he was, didn't feel that it was right for them to fight. He attempted to convince Lancelot, but he wanted no word of it. Eventually, the two parted ways, and went to form their own exploration teams. Galahad would form Team Alpha, an organization dedicated to assisting those in need and exploring new and undiscovered lands.

Appearance: Nothing out of the ordinary, really.

Personality: Lancelot is not a very kind person. The exact antithesis to Galhad's sense of justice, Lancelot prefers doing what he desires, regardless of who would get harmed because of it. He's a ruthless tactician, but not a brash one. He utilizes manipulation and cunning strategies to achieve whatever ends he may be planning. Pragmatism, blackmail, death threats, they're all child's play to him. He's not a very sympathetic leader, either. He treats his fellow members of Team Omega as pawns to take down the opponent, and nothing else.

History: Lancelot spent almost the entirety of his life with his brother, Galahad. While Galahad would always go out of his way to help others, Lancelot would either completely ignore their pleas, or depending on his current mood, make the situation worse. At first, this wasn't made too obvious, but the encounters started to become worse and worse.

He scoffed his brother's intentions, and sometimes used outright force to try and get his point across. Lancelot would form Team Omega, an organization dedicated to asserting their hold over all civilizations, as well as delving into uncharted areas.

Name: Lapis
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Species: Sableye
Team: Team Omega

Appearance: Her eyes-gems are red and the stone on her chest is blue.

Personality: Lapis is quiet, but cunning. She prefers to watch from the sidelines, and cause chaos behind the scenes. She rarely makes friends, but she will stand by any ally she can make. Lapis isn't easily angered, but exacts revenge on those she feels wronged her in some way. She may also go into a frenzy if provoked.

History: Lapis was born into a clan of Sableye that lived underground. She was a mischievous child, always getting herself, and other children, into trouble. Due to this, and to her odd gem coloration, many Sableye wanted nothing to do with her.

A couple years after she was born, the clan started to notice weird happenings. Food would go missing, or caves would be collapsed mysteriously. Then, when she was five, a body of a a Sableye was found. It had been crushed by a rock. A week later, another body was found, crushed by a rock. The Sableye bagan to get scared, and a search was started, to find the cause of it all. Nothing was found out.

During this time, Lapis would disapear for hours on end, without a trace. The clan's leader followed her one day, and watched in horror, as she caused a cave to collapse on top of an unsuspecting Sableye. The clan leader asked her what she was dfoing, and Lapis replied, confused, "She was mean to me. I wanted her gone." They faught, and the clan leader overpowered her, and banished her from the clan. Lapis lived on her own for 16 years, before joining Team Omega.

Other: She has a great fondness for precious stones. She likes to think they have a beginning in the earth, and an ending in her clutches.

Species:Meowth
Team: Team Omega

Appearance:Tybalt has one scare over his left eye. He is blind in his left eye and it usually remains closed. Tybalt's body is covered with scars and scratches from fighting.

Personality:Tybalt is a Pokemon that loves to fight and will never turn down a challenge. Tybalt is very rash and hot headed. Tybalt is well known for his fiery temper and his tendency to rush into things. Tybalt will often challenge someone if he feels that they are insulting him or his team.

History:Tybalt was born into a letter of nine kittens. Tybalt was born in an old barn and was the runt of the litter. Tybalt was often cold and hungry. When he was just two weeks old, Tybalt witnessed the farmer selling two of his littermates due to their weakness. This event would later trigger Tybalt's obsession with strength and fighting.

Tybalt worked at the barn as a mouse hunter for a while, however, when heard the farmer talking about selling him due to his small size, Tybalt ran away. Tybalt spent many years eating out trashcans and hanging around stray cats. Eventually Tybalt found Team Omega and joined them.

Other: Due to him spending all of his time in a cold but dry barn Tybalt has little expirience with water and hence, developed a hatered of water.

Name: Ares
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Species: Lucario
Team: Team Alpha

Appearance: Ares is not the same color as a normal Lucario. His fur is white with red stripes and his torso is silver. He also has a small jagged scar on the left side of his chest.

Personality: Ares was never your typical Lucario in that he was the perfect paragon for good. Sure he believes in doing the right thing (thus the reason for being a member of Team Alpha), but he is nowhere near perfect. He is flirtatious and charming, but he also has a problem with controlling his temper. He is good to have at your back in a fight and he is loyal to his friends. However, he is also known to hold grudges.

History: Ares left his family from a young age (he was just five), deciding that he didn't want to stay in one place and grow up. He wandered the world, picking up new skills and moves and meeting new Pokemon of all types. Along the way, he picked up many skills and is known as a bit of a handyman when it comes to technology. Eventually, he realized that he wanted to settle down somewhere to a degree. He joined Team Alpha so he could continue to explore the world, but at least have somewhere to call home.

Other: Beginnings and Endings sounds like a title of a book or something.

Cartmanland, you're almost there. Take a good look at the first post. You're missing something.

Here's another one of my sign-ups.

Name: Marek
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Species: Excadrill
Team: Omega

Appearance: He has a scar going down his left eye, but other than that, nothing unusual.

Personality: Marek is definitely not the kind of person you want to be on the opposing side of. He has a lust for battle rivaling that of his boss, and he sure knows how to fight. His style of fighting is simple. No stealth, no fake-outs, no deception. Just going in and tearing things to shreds. He's quite hyperactive, and he tends to get himself into trouble quite frequently. He also has an almost ludicrously short temper, so it would be advisable to keep your distance from him. He's also a tad bit on the crazy side.

History: Marek was born into a colony of Drilbur and Excadrill, but he was not always the most helpful member of the group. He started building up a track record of fights, attacking others, and nearly killing one particular member. It didn't take long for him to get himself banished from the group.

During his travels afterward, he met the first person that he would consider a friend; a Gigalith named Atlas. He too was exiled from his former home due to violence, so the two thought that it would be better to wander in a group than wander alone.

But it could not last. The two had managed to get themselves into a few predicaments, and Marek was starting to show a bad habit of leaving Atlas to fend for himself. In one case, an entire cave was collapsing around their heads after a fierce battle against a clan of Crobat, and Marek simply left. Atlas wasn't quick enough, so he was buried in the rubble. No one saw him since, and no one even knew if he was truly dead.

Afterward, Marek began to realize once more that he needed a group to fight with. Not necessarily partners, but someone to watch his back. He found this group in Team Omega, and immediately signed up.

Other: There are no beginnings without endings.
 
Name: Felicity
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Species: Lopunny
Team: Team Alpha

Appearance: Felicity is identical to many Lopunny except one difference. On her neck there is a a small star print.

Personality: Felicity, the latin for happiness. Likewise, she is fun and positive to be around. She has high class personality but never looks down on anyone and believes in good manners and goodness over evil. She is willing to fight at times and will never back down as shhe has been taught that.

History: Felicity was born to a noble family. She had a faternal twin brother called Gemini. As she was born into the family she has a birth mark of a star on her neck. At the age of 10 she was taught ladylike manners by her family consorts. Nevertheless she would end up getting into minor trouble with her brother. After an incident when they where 15 her brother ran away. She decided to join Team Alpha 3 years later as she was lonely at home.

Other: Beginnings and Endings of something, nothing maybe everything.

Name: Gemini
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Species: Ursaring
Team: Team Omega

Appearance: Ursaring looks identical to many Ursarings except one difference. On his neck he has the sign of a crescent.

Personality: Gemini, the older twin. He was the older brother of Felicity. Being older and male the norm of the family was to make men strict and obedient. He has grown up like that but hated it and has developed sinister and cunning traits. He is manipulative and hot headed.

History: Growing up in a noble family with customs was never going to be a joy. His younger sister had it easy. She took all the love whilst he was forced to grow up by himself with harsh and sturdy feelings. However he turned into a mischevious child and he manipulated Felicity into stealing something which got her in trouble. He ran away and joined Team Omega so he would never have to see his family again.

Other: Beginnings and Endings and boys have crescents whilst girls have stars..

Name: Venom
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Species: Beedrill
Team: Alpha

Appearance: Nothing unusual.

Personality: Contrary to what you may expect at first, Venom is a nice person at heart. However, his somewhat short temper and his habit of jumping to conclusions can complicate this a bit. Venom tries to be friendly, even though he's not the best when it comes to socialization. He tends to adopt a bit of a "fight first, ask questions later" approach to numerous situations, though.

History: Venom was actually born to a very, very small group of Beedrill, that were attempting to fight off an invading colony of Scyther. Venom's parents were killed in one of these fights, and he began to develop a bit of pent-up anger because of these attacks. In one foolish attempt to take them down, he flew right into their encampment. This plan did not work. He probably would've been killed as well, if he wasn't pulled out by other members of his group.

Eventually, he was the sole survivor of the small group. Seeing that he was going to be attacked if he stayed, he flew off, hoping to find something to do. Because of those battles, fighting had been all he had known up to that point. He had no friends there, and the only people he had even partly gotten to know were the others at the camp.

After numerous years of meandering the countryside, he had finally managed to locate an immense tower, stretching far up into the distance. He had no idea that it was the headquarters of Team Alpha. He went inside, and was greeted by Galahad himself. Venom soon realized that this was definitely the place that he wanted to be a part of, and Galahad was willing to oblige.

Other: There are no endings without new beginnings.
 
Name: Idani

Gender: Female

Age: fourteen

Species: Chimchar

Team: Alpha

Appearance: Instead of her little turft on top of her head, she has a bt of furr that falls into her left eye. Instead of black, or blackish-geen, her eyes are amber.

Personality: Idani is funny, friendly, and smart, but can be a little shy. She is brave, but certain things make her skittish, like high places. She can be very reckless, trying to prove herself, but she also has a good head on her shoulders.

History: Idani's mother was on a Exploration-Team, and when Idani was five, her mother died on a mission. Since then, her father has hated the teams, but Idani has always wanted to join one.

Other: She has really bad nightmares about her mom's death. "Beginnings and Endings"

Personality: Ken is an arrogant pokemon interesteds in little more than fighting. He prefers giving himself handicaps in battle, as that makes it more interesting. All in all he's a man who cares little for anything except his own enjoyment
History: Ken was bullied while a torchic, but was able to strike back when he evolved to a combusken. The feeling it gave him was absolutely euphoric. He loved fighting, and more importantly, winning. So he trained until he managed to evolve, and joined team omega because their violent nature appealed to him

Name: Akira
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Species: Accelgor
Team:Team Alpha
Appearance: a scar going down his face
Personality: Akira is a very repentant person. He has commited many sins and seeks to atone. He does not think he is worthy of friendship and so keeps to himself. He is very protective of kids
History: Akira was once a memeber of a clan of ninja pokemon. Once, at his suggestion, they allowed into their normally accelgor only ranks, a croagunk . He and the croagunk Grew to be close friends and mission partners. Later in his life his clan was fired to fight in a war, and he became wounded, even going as far as to temporarily lose his sight. When he recovered, he discovered that the person who had nursed him back to health was a member of the people they were killing. After that, he vowed to talk with his father the clanhead and convince them to stop fighting. But before he could, his clan attacked the village, and began slaughtering everyone. He instinctlively defended his healer, and in doing so accidently attacked his friend. Thinking he killed him, Akira fled in disgrace. Now he has joined team alpha to atone for his past crimes

Appearance: Just a normal Bayleef for the most part.

Personality: Riley is a bit timid, but is verily open to new expiriences. He is brave, and all around strong-willed. Riley is kind-hearted, and is always willing to help out. He isn't afraid to take risks.

History: It is tradition that the men in Riley's family dedicate their lives to forming a rescue team. They're all about giving back. Riley always looked forward to the day when it was his turn.

Species: Vibrava

Appearance: Looks like an ordianry Vibrava, except he wears a green scarf and a brown band on one of his wings.

Personality: An easygoing Pokemon, hard working and loyal. Once Flynn starts a task, he intends on finishing it, no matter how futile it may seem. His dedication sometimes gets him in dangerous situations. He likes making new friends and enjoys exploration.

History: He's a frequent visitor of the nearby Town, where the two teams are based. He's usually there picking up items and other things for his family who live in the desert region to the south. Being from the desert, he enjoys warm weather, dry conditions and, sand. He's finally ready to join Team Alpha to fufill his dream of becoming a full-time explorer.

Other: I've heard beginnings and endings can be quite interesting.
 
Name: Blaze
Gender: Male
Age: 12
Species: Typhlosione
Team: Alpha

Appearance: Nothing special about him.

Personality: Blaze is agressive but, good natured. He likes being around other people rather than being alone. He is brave and funny being that he can make any situation into a joke.

History: When Blaze was just a baby Cyndaquil his parents abandoned him and left him to die. Nobody helped him. Therefore he made the decision to help anyone in need, no mateer how big or small their problem was.

Other: "Beginnings and Endings" are cool.
 
Name: Illusion
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Species: Zoroark
Team: Alpha

Appearance: Illusion's red hair is much shorter than most Zoroarks, and it only falls to about his shoulder area. Other than that, there are no differences.

Personality: Illusion, despite his being a dark-type, is very honorable and loyal. He shows mercy to any who deserve it, although if you don't, you have a good reason to fear his claws and ability. Illusion is also a bit of a loner, but is still open to having fun and making friends. He has a bit of a silver tongue, and can confuse and manipulate people with words quite easily. Illusion is calm and focused, and will do whatever he promises to do as quickly as possible. Illusion can adjust to the most difficult situation, and is pretty intelligent and strategic.

History: Illusion was born in a forest, far north of the town where Team Alpha and Team Omega frequent. The winters there were strong enough to kill a full-grown Zoroark if he or she wandered out into the forest for a few hours, and avalanches constantly came down from the mountains and crushed the trees. As such, it was hard to find food, and most prey would be dead by the end of the winter.

The fist summer that Illusion was a Zoroark, he wandered south for what seemed like years until he discovered a town inhabited by Pokemon he'd never seen. He heard things about exploration teams who fought to help save Pokemon, and immediately went looking to join one. When Illusion discovered team Alpha, he was quick to join in on the exploring.

Other: Beginnings and endings. Alpha and omega. Most RPs have beginnings, yet so many don't make it to the end. Shouldn't that cause some sort of universal unbalance?
