Falkner & Noctowl
The new Trainer Files: Elegant Flying-Type Pokémon event has just launched today in Pokémon Masters EX. Running alongside this event are a set of Variety Scouts featuring Falkner, with his new sync partner Noctowl. The event and Scouts will both be available until February 18th at 9:59pm (PST).

Trainer FIles: Elegant Flying-Type Pokémon
In this new event, Falkner and Janine's training together is interrupted by Team Rocket, who aim to steal their Pokémon. By completing battles during this event, players can earn Event Voucher I items, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items, including 5★ Scout Tickets, 5★ Johto Scout Tickets, and a Support Move Candy Coin. Players can also obtain Gems for completing special missions during the event.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:
These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Falkner & Noctowl, Janine & Ariados, and any other Flying-Type Sync Pair, would grant a combined +120% (x2.2) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 10:00pm (PST).
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
  • When the exchange period for the vouchers obtained in this event ends, leftover Event Voucher I items will be converted into coins (10 coins per voucher) and sent to each player's Present Box.
Falkner & Noctowl
Falkner Variety Scout
This Variety scout offers players to scout Falkner in his brand new 5★ sync pair with Noctowl. The pair makes their debut with an expanded sync grid, the ability to be raised to 6★ EX, and the ability to unlock an EX Role. Falkner & Noctowl uses the same costumes as those from Falkner's regular sync pair, and does not have their own individual sync pair story. Players will also receive a present of a Support Move Coin for the first three times they use the Sync Pair Scout x11 for this Scout.

In addition to the regular Variety Scout, Trainers can also take advantage of a Presents! Limit 3! Falkner Variety Scout, a special Sync Pair Scout requiring paid gems, that, as the name implies, can be used up to 3 times. Players will receive a 50% discount on their first Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout, making it 1,500 Gems rather than the usual 3,000. As an added bonus, players will also receive bonus items every time they do a Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout. The bonuses that are received are as follows.

1st Time (50% off)
  • Custom ★ Power Up for Falkner & Noctowl x5
  • Custom Sync Orb for Falkner & Noctowl x200
2nd Time
  • Custom ★ Power Up for Falkner & Noctowl x5
  • Custom Sync Orb for Falkner & Noctowl x200
3rd Time
  • 5★ Master Scout Ticket W x1
  • Custom ★ Power Up for Falkner & Noctowl x10
  • Custom Sync Orb for Falkner & Noctowl x200
The 5★ Master Scout Ticket W allows Trainers to use the Falkner Guarenteed Ticket Scout, ensuring they scout the Flying-type Gym Leader from Johto. Both the Variety Scout and Variety Scout + Present! Limit 3! will be available until February 18th, at 9:59pm (PST). The associated Ticket Scout will be available until February 25th, at 9:59pm (PST).

Hoenn Elite Four members Sidney, Phoebe, Glacia, and Drake as well as Champions Steven and Wallace
Champion Stadium: Hoenn Challenge
Until March 3rd, at 9:59pm (PST), the Champion Stadium is rotating around to Hoenn, giving Trainers the opportunity to challenge Hoenn Elite Four members Sidney, Phoebe, Glacia, and Drake as well as Champions Steven and Wallace. The exact roster of opponents will change weekly, offering players the chance to play against both the Ruby and Sapphire lineup, and the Emerald lineup.

Successful Trainers will gain access to Master Mode, which allows players to face more challenging battles against the Elite Four, an in-game badge that signifies their accomplishment, and other special reward items including Champion Spirit, which can be used to raise sync pairs up to 6★ EX.
To participate in the Champion Stadium, Trainers must have completed Main Story Chapter 10: A Reason to Battle (Normal) in single-player. To attempt the Hoenn Challenge, players must also have completed the Kanto Challenge on Normal difficulty. The Normal difficulty of the Kanto Challenge is always available, regardless of the current regional rotation of the Champion Stadium.
