Pikachu necklace with Tiffany Blue Poké Ball
Tiffany & Co., the high-end brand most well known by their proprietary color, Tiffany Blue, has announced a new collection of nine Pokémon pendant necklaces in collaboration with artist Daniel Arsham. Two pieces, both featuring Pikachu in different poses, come as 18 karat yellow gold, and the other seven necklaces come in an oxidized sterling silver finish and feature Pokémon from Generation I, including Charmander, Squirtle, Mew, Jigglypuff, and Cubone. Both materials are accented with diamonds, and the two gold Pikachu designs will come packaged in a Tiffany Blue Poké Ball.

Daniel Arsham says the designs were inspired by his 2022 exhibition at the Nanzuka contemporary art gallery in Tokyo, “A Ripple in Time,” which pictured Pokémon as relics unearthed in an imagined future. “With Pokémon and Tiffany, itself, there’s a sense of cultural permanence about each,” said Arsham.

Cubone, Charmander, Mew, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and Squirtle pendants
Pieces begin at ¥211,200 ($1,392.67 USD), with the large 18k gold Pikachu necklace being the most expensive, coming in at the luxury price of ¥4.73 million ($31,188.67 USD). This capsule collection will be available at the Tiffany & Co. Landmark in New York City and the Omotesando store in Tokyo beginning in December. The collection will also have limited availability online at tiffany.com, where customers can apply to purchase a piece from November 29th at 9:00 AM EST until November 30th at 9:00 PM EST, to be shipped December 9th.
