I think a lot of people must have noticed this, but I've never heard anyone mention it. I have never encountered Missingno, so I didn't realise this at once. But in the 5th Pokemon movie, the one with Latias and Latios, there is a skeleton of Kabutops and Ptera/Aerodactyl. You know what I mean now, don't you?
Why did they pick these two Pokemon to be in that movie? They are both fossil Pokemon, yes, but it still make me think they refer to Missingno. Actually I have no idea why Missingno can be a skeleton of Kabutops or Ptera, not even if those sprites exist elsewhere in the game (maybe at the museum?).
Maybe those two Pokemon were just coincidence in the movie, I don't know . . .
