I think what it shows is that they don’t view it as important, which makes we worry that they don’t have anything to do there. I’m just disappointed that Game Freak is focusing more on looks than actual content.
 
Seriously, I can’t get over how awesome Madam Celadon is. Next to being able to switch Natures at will, this is the best thing that could’ve happened to that particular game mechanic.
 
Oh my gosh, now we can control wild Pokemon natures? As artificial-gene-modifying-like as it sounds, what a wonderful feature! Now we can fully maximize the stat potential of a Pokemon! Or, for role players, have Pokemon with natures we envision our partners with. Lol it'll make Trainers go back and re-catch all the Pokemon they had with them up until that point for something better.

This feature is huge boon for me, like wow.
 
The feature's only not that good imo; you're basically being charged $10,000 for Synchronize. (Which isn't in the game, oop.) I guess it's more reliable than Synchronize, and you don't need to keep a spot open on your team for it. But I'd rather they just let us change natures instead of going for a band-aid solution.

I agree that I’d prefer to change natures at will, but this isn’t just a Synchronize copy. Apart from the reliability, you also save yourself time and effort of catching the Synchronize Pokémon in the first place. Using Abra as an example, you’re saving yourself the trouble of having to hunt down 21 different-natured Abras with Synchronize (roughly half the Abra you’ll encounter will have Inner Focus*, not to mention repeat natures.) that’s a huge time saver and potentially a money saver as well. Consider all the momey you’ll be spending on poke balls just to catch this Synchronizer.

*sure, you can use the Ability Capsule, but that’s a time sink on its own given how much BP it takes to purchase just one.
 
10k isn’t all that bad. With just a round of the Elite 4 you can earn the money to pay the worldwide Synchro.

But again, I’m the kind of person who preferred to waste money on getting Casino coins rather than trying to win them with the games as I found that method much more reliable, and beating up the E4 was the fastest way to get extra cash, so eventually having to beat up the E4 over and over doesn’t faze me at all.

I personally find Madame Celadon better than wasting hours trying to find suitable Synchronizers in the wild, tbh.
 
I have to agree that the nature summoning woman is definitely a very welcome addition, as it means no more having to farm Pokemon until you get the most beneficial one out of 25 for a given species based on your team. It’s just a shame that this is being introduced now, in this game, rather than in being introduced in Sun & Moon (given that LGPE are not even oriented towards the competitive crowd).

I also kind of like how the colors Chase/Elaine picks in the quiz correspond to the color codes of the increased & decreased stats of the nature you want to see, for example watering the blue flowers and picking the pink flowers to get the Quiet nature (+ Sp Attack, - Speed)
