You are one of many unevolved pokemon traveling with your trainer(s) to the latest global tournament via commercial airplane. Unfortunately, while passing through an uncharted area, the wings of the aircraft are mysteriously torn off and the plane is forced into a crash landing! Most pokemon were safe inside their balls but there are no signs of the humans, not the pilots nor any trainers. Now lost deep in an unfamiliar jungle, the survivors must fend for themselves and the local wild pokemon do not seem to be interested in making friends...

No, it evolves into Tyranitar, which, if memory serves right, is a pseudo-Legendary Pokemon.
 
Larvitar evolves into pupitar THEN tyranitar,and it doesn't count as a pseudo legendary Nor is it classified as one. Especially with x4 to fighting,one of the most common types in-game.
