Day 1: A Bright New Day

A few months had passed since Professor Rowan came back to Sinnoh. Research was going well, and the warm season was approaching; the only time of the year where Sinnoh was even close to the average temperature of Hoenn. Having just finished a walk, Rowan walked into his lab to find Dawn, his assistant, in the back on a computer. She turned to him, as her eyes went wide. "Professor! Your satchel! Where is it?" she exclaimed. "You forgot it at the lake, didn't you? This is the second time this week that you've forgotten it. You can't just go leaving that around everywhere! It's got important research in it, let alone three rare Pokemon!!" Rowan seemed a bit taken aback by the snappiness at which Dawn presented her tone, but he knew she was right. "Dawn, I apologize, my dear. I suppose my old age is getting to me." Rushing out of the lab, it took them a bit to get back to the Lake, but when they got there, they found two young boys fending off attacks from some wild Pokemon. "Help!!" they screamed, eyes filled with fear. "In the bag!" yelled Dawn. "The balls - use them!"

After a short skirmish, the wild Pokemon fled back into the forest from which they came. As the two boys brushed the dust off their shorts, one, a blonde boy with a skittish disposition, grabbed the bag and ran over, nearly barreling into the Professor in the process. "Excuse me sir, is this yours? Here, take it - if my mother finds out we've been here, she'll be furious! Come on now, Lucas, don't lag behind!" the boy yelled, as he ran off, throwing the bag back at the Professor. Dawn caught it and slung it over her shoulder, both her and the Professor looking confusingly at the boy running off towards Twinleaf Town. The other boy quickly followed suit, tipping his hat to the Professor without saying a word. As they ran off, the Professor was not necessarily angry so much as intrigued. "Those two had no knowledge of Pokemon," he murmured, "yet they were able to command them with ease in battle. I must keep an eye on them, just in case..."

Night 1: Running Out of Steam

Unfortunately it looks like Insaneintherain doesn't have a cover for the rival battle fight music, which is a shame, so this'll have to do.

Two weeks after the Professor’s chance meeting with those two boys, the sun set to the side opposite Mount Coronet, Eterna City bustled with life. Nothing, however, was more alive than the newly renovated and renamed Galactic Eterna Building, whose neon lights and rotating planetoid roof cast a dim light in the evening air. Galactic Grunts roamed the city, some training, some sharing a conversation with each other, and some simply going about their evening. Strangely enough, however, few townsfolk were seen in the square. In the condominiums to the south, however, tensions flared. “Give them back!!” a girl cried out as a Grunt sneered at her and her family. “Sorry, but I have no idea what happened to your stupid Clefairy. Go cry about it to someone else.” At this moment, Barry burst through the door and ran headfirst into the Grunt, tackling him in the process. “Your cruelty won’t be tolerated in this city, Galactic crud! I challenge you to a battle!” The Grunt laughed. “Pathetic little kid. I’ll crush you!”

Hours later, Barry found himself at the top of the Galactic Eterna Building. The bodies of whited out Grunts littered the stairways as he stood face to face with Galactic Admin Jupiter, the Admin in charge of the building’s renovation. “Enough of your little games, child. It’s clear you’ve lost. Skuntank, Poison Gas!” At her words, a terrible smell overcame the room as a purple skunk-like Pokemon sauntered out of the darkness with a smug look. Its eyes glazed over Barry to his Staravia, which looked pretty bloodied, as it let out a poisonous gas in the direction of the bird Pokemon. Staravia’s eyes watered, then closed in pain, as it breathed in the poison that had filled the battlefield. Barry gasped, but after glancing upon a scared Clefairy in the corner of the room, hardened his eyes and clenched his fists. “We won’t go down without a fight! Staravia, use Endeavor!” With all its might, the bird flew high into the sky and launched itself at the Skuntank, uppercutting its purple body with a sharp beak and floating above the Skuntank, almost with as much determination as its trainer. The Skuntank doubled over, chest heaving, and nearly fainted - but before Staravia could deal the final blow, its face turned green and it fell out of the sky; the poison was simply too much for the poor bird. Jupiter grinned as Barry sank to the ground in defeat. Walking over to her Skuntank, she sprayed a Potion across its flank before shoving it up to its feet. “Too bad, little boy. Have sweet dreams…” she laughed, as another poisonous fog came over the room, and Barry’s eyes closed.

Day 2: A Complete Takeover

In the night, the members of Team Galactic gathered in the conference room. Chatter was abound, and admins mingled with grunts as if they were one and the same. Everyone wore their Galactic garb - it almost seemed like a regular business meeting. Suddenly, however, the lights dimmed and everyone turned to face the stage. "Team Galactic!" yelled Cyrus, from atop the balcony. "You have come from far and wide to help us achieve our grand mission of removing that inequitous spirit that plagues our world and prevents us from progress! Tonight, we make that mission a reality! We shall take the necessary steps to solidify the creation of a world that I - no, all of Team Galactic, can prevent from future harms of justice and inequity! Rise, Galactic, and seize your destiny!

As the night continued, Galactic Grunts came out of hiding in every city in Sinnoh. They poured everywhere from the Game Corner in Veilstone, the ships in Canalave Harbor, and the cozy cabins in Snowpoint. Each of the eight groups stormed the nearby Pokemon Gyms, but this wasn't just a simple gym challenge - no, the Grunts took matters into their own hands. This was a coup. The eight Gym Leaders stood firm amongst waves and waves of Grunts, but it felt like with every Grunt they defeated, two more took its place. Eventually, the Leaders' Pokemon became tired more and more with the fires of battle, and slowly succumbed to defeat. In a single night, each of the Gym Leaders of Sinnoh had not only fallen in defeat, but lost their positions as representatives of the League and keepers of the peace throughout the region.

Spending the evening reading up on The Sea's Legend in Canalave Library, Professor Rowan was startled with the noise coming from outside the library. Peering outside, he saw waves of Grunts storming across the bridge and into the Gym. "Byron must be in trouble," the good Professor exclaimed, and he rushed to head to the Gym. But before he could get there, out of the corner of his eye he spotted a woman with purple hair that he immediately recognized. "Jupiter!" he exclaimed. "First you take down my student, and now you storm the gyms? What is this madness??" Jupiter sneered, as her eyes shone with fierce determination. "That brat was a pushover. His emotions made him weak. You, sir, are no different. Just older. It's time for a new generation to take control - a new generation that won't tolerate such spirit. A new generation defined by our rules - the rules of Team Galactic! I challenge you to a battle, Professor, if only to see how your sorry spirit is crushed with my ambition." Rowan, knowing he was not a battler, accepted her challenge, knowing very well it would cause him defeat. But, hopefully it could save Byron some time...

Your group consists of the ambitious Rock-type expert Roark, cheery Grass-type expert Gardenia, competitive Fighting-type expert Maylene, lively Water-type expert Crasher Wake, flamboyant Ghost-type expert Fantina, enthusiastic Steel-type expert Byron, sweet Ice-type expert Candice and aloof Electric-type expert Volkner.

Between your group, you have many unique characteristics and cover a range of skill sets. As such, you are the town’s Jack-Of-All-Trades (JOAT). Each night, you can choose from one of three 1 x Shot abilities, 1 x Cop, 1 x Doctor and 1 x Vigilante. You can choose to investigate a player and determine their alliance. Day 4: Feeding the Flames of Firey Passion

You are the younger brother of the Elite Four member Flint, and are first encountered in the post-game area, the Survival Area. You and your trusty Claydol go looking for treasure in Stark Mountain, where you join the protagonist as one of the five Stat Trainers in the game. Your specialty is Pokemon with high defense and special defense.

You are competitive and have a fiery personality, battling the fire of Stark Mountain with your own fire. As such, you are the town’s Firefighter. Each night, you can choose to save one person who has been doused in fire. This will un-douse them and protect them from ignition. You can do this by replying to this PM with Battle With: [PLAYER].

You are allied with the town, and win when all mafia have been eliminated.

DawningWinds has died! They were Buck, the Town Firefighter.

Night 2 - Luck Run Out

In the depths of Eterna Forest, a girl lurked, picking berries on the forest floor. Unaware of the events that had transpired outside the forest, she felt free, away from any danger, when all of a sudden she heard a voice behind her. Startled, she ran, through the forest to an old, abandoned house. She opened the door and slammed it behind her, breath shaking and gasping for air uncontrollably. "Well well, what do we have here?" A Galactic Admin with red hair approached the girl with a menacing look in her eye. "Please! Don't hurt me! My name's Cheryl. I mean you no harm!" She pleaded with the Admin, but to no avail. "Now now, Cheryl. I don't WANT to hurt you, but seeing as you've walked right into our experiment..." Cheryl looked up. Test tubes littered the floor of the house, with researchers standing in front of...household appliances? She didn't know what this was for, but it didn't look good. The lady with red hair continued: "...then you'll have to just stay quiet, understood?" Cheryl, eyes beginning to glaze with shock, nodded, and fell to the ground unconscious.

Night 3: Let's Do The Time Warp Again

At the top of the Spear Pillar, Cyrus stood. Face to face with him was the legendary Pokemon Giratina, who stared at him in anger. "Who...or what are you??" Cyrus stuttered, but did not let fear overtake him. Reaching for a Pokeball, he threw it at the enormous monster. "Giggaogogogogwowogogooh!!!" it screamed, and vanished into thin air. "Honchkrow, be on your guard!" Cyrus yelled, his fingers clenching into a fist. Suddenly, Giratina reappeared and attempted to slash at Honchkrow with its spiked wings. "DODGE!!!" Cyrus yelled, as Honchkrow managed to get out of the way. Back and forth and back and forth they exchanged blows, until Giratina had been beaten.

Suddenly, the entire world shifted, as if time was slowing down, then speeding up. Bewildered, Cyrus looked up to see that the sky was transitioning from night to day, then back to night again, despite the world seemingly moving in slow motion. When he got to his feet again, the corpse of Giratina was gone, and the moon shone high in the Sinnoh sky once more.

Dear RavenRaziel98, you are Giratina.

You are a mysterious Pokemon in these games, as you are yet to have your story expanded like it is in Platinum. You are encountered in Turnback Cave, where a dark version of you is fought at Level 100 in Ramanas Park. You can change forms with the Griseous Orb. You are part of the Creation Trio of Legendaries (with Dialga and Palkia), representing antimatter.

You have your own goals, and live alone in the Distortion World. As such, you are an independent, and are an Arsonist. Each night, you can choose to steal someone from the Sinnoh region and bring them with you into the Distortion World. You can do this by replying to this PM with Steal: [PLAYER]. After however many players have been stolen, you can then choose to use antimatter and annihilate them all. You can do this by replying to this PM with Annihilate Tonight. Note, you cannot use both of these abilities on the same night.

You are independent, and win when all other players have been eliminated or there is one other player left in the game.

Endgame: A New World

Having just barely defeated the otherworldly Pokemon, Giratina, Cyrus managed to harness the power of the other two Legendary Pokemon to his advantage. With them claimed, there was absolutely no challenge to his reign over the Sinnoh region - not even the Champion could stop him now. Thus, it came as a surprise when he turned to exit and there stood a young Trainer, not even over 15 years old, in his way, with his fists clenched. "So, THIS is who Cynthia sends to defend the region she holds so dear? Pah. Useless. Kid, I'm going to beat you down so far into a pulp you'll be unrecognizable by the time I'm done!"

The battle raged on, but when Cyrus called forth Palkia, its Spacial Rend devastated the Trainer's Pokemon in a single hit. Bewildered by the awesome power of the Legendary Pokemon, the Trainer admitted defeat. As Cyrus turned back once again, he looked out upon the Sinnoh region. It was all his, and his to do with what he wished - at last, he could create the world he envisioned all those years ago.

Dear Midorikawa, you are Dawn/Lucas.

You are the player character of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, either a girl or boy respectively. After taking a Pokeball to save yourself from some Starly, you are thrust into a journey of discovery when Professor Rowan requests your help for the Pokedex. This journey is full of many encounters, where you battle legendary Pokemon, take down a cult and become the Sinnoh Champion.

No matter which gender is chosen, both you and Professor Rowan’s assistant (the gender not chosen) are given the same task: to complete the Pokedex. As such, you are the town’s Tracker. Each night, you can choose to follow a player and see who they visit with their night action(s). You can do this by replying to this PM with Track: [PLAYER].

As the sky turned to red, Cynthia turned to the Elite Four behind her, staring out at Mount Coronet through the Sunnyshore Lighthouse in disbelief. "There's nothing we can do...We've lost." she said, eyes blank.

Dear ~~Sushi The Enby~~ Jinjo, you are the Elite Four.

You are four of the strongest trainers in the Sinnoh region, tasked with battling any potential contenders who wish for the title of Champion. Your group consists of the determined Bug-type expert Aaron, the tough Ground-type expert Bertha, the passionate Fire-type expert Flint and the educated Psychic-type expert Lucian.

Your range of skills makes it hard to beat you all in succession, making the Champion seem untouchable. As such, you are the town’s Ascetic. Each night, it will be impossible for other players to perform night actions (excluding the night kill) on you. This will happen automatically.

You are allied with the town, and win when all mafia have been eliminated.

Dear Space, you are Cynthia.

You are the Champion of the Sinnoh region, who meets the protagonist fairly early in their journey. Helping from the side, you guide the protagonist to eventually meet you in battle, where you eventually lose your title (although you don’t go down without a fight). You are very fashionable, and have awesome intro and battle music too.

Your Pokemon are very hard to take down, and hit like a truck (in particular, your infamous Garchomp). As such, you are the town’s 1 x Bulletproof and 1 x Vigilante. Once during this game, you may survive a nightkill. This will be done automatically. Furthermore, during one night phase, you may choose to kill another player of your choosing. You can do this by replying to this PM with ~~absolutely obliterate this team~~ KO: [PLAYER].

You are allied with the town, and win when all mafia have been eliminated.

As the Galactic Admins finally joined Cyrus at the top of the mountain, they looked down with evil grins and glares.

Dear ExLight, you are Mars, Saturn and Jupiter.

You are the admins of Team Galactic, standing in the way of the protagonist several times throughout the game. You are each named after a planet of Earth’s solar system. After Cyrus disappears, Saturn takes control of the organisation.

You all attempt to take down the protagonist and protect your leader. As such, you are the mafia’s Jack-Of-All-Trades (JOAT) Killer. Each night, you can choose to imbue the mafia kill with one of three 1 x Shot modifiers, 1 x Ninja, 1 x Strongman and 1 x Forcer. You can choose to make your kill undetectable by any means. You can do this by replying to this PM (or most likely, the mafia chat) with Sneak Kill: [PLAYER]. You can choose to make your kill bypass all protection. You can do this by replying to this PM or the mafia chat with KO Kill: [PLAYER]. Finally, you can choose to alter your kill so that it appears like it was completed by another player. You can do this by replying to this PM or the mafia chat with Manipulate [PLAYER BEING FRAMED] to Kill: [PLAYER BEING KILLED].

You are aligned with the mafia and win when your numbers are equal to or greater than the town.

Dear EternalPokéFanGirl, you are Cyrus.

You are the primary antagonist of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and the leader of Team Galactic. Your goal is to recreate the entire universe. After realising that emotions lead to pain, you became nihilistic and eliminated your emotions, wishing for a world without spirit to end all strife.

You seek to control either Dialga or Palkia in order to achieve your goals, and become a God. As such, you are the mafia’s 1 x Nexus and Timespace Manipulator. During one night phase of the game, you can choose to protect yourself with the power of Pokemon gods, and redirect any actions that target you to random players. You can do this by replying to this PM with I shall become a deity! Furthmore, you can take control of either Dialga or Palkia and use their abilities once each during the course of the game. If you control Dialga, you can control time and choose to either skip a phase or change the length of a phase to be between 5-60 hours. You can do this by replying to this PM with either Distort Time or Time Dilate To: [PHASE LENGTH CHOSEN]. Note this action can be used in any phase. If you control Palkia, you can reset the space that the game is played on, eliminating all votals and placing two votals on a player of your choosing. You can do this by replying to this PM with Reset Space and Teleport: [PLAYER]. Note, this can only be used during the day phase with at least 30 minutes remaining in phase, and you can also use your own vote on top of the additional two placed.

You are aligned with the mafia and win when your numbers are equal to or greater than the town.
