Pokémon preferences?

Should there be a section detailing what kind of Pokémon each of the main characters tend to capture and train? (or like to own but do not).

It isn't only limited to Pokémon of a certain type, but rather Pokémon that fill out certain roles in the anime or Pokémon they would love to have on their team (even if they ultimately do not get them).

Would this be worthwhile to add to each articles of the main characters?

Not exactly... It isn't about what kinds the character has captured, but also kinds they tend to go after. (I've noticed that in Jessie's case, she makes an extra effort in "befriending" feminine Pokémon like Smoochum or Chansey.)

Besides, I think the trivia sections are already very bloated.

it still doesnt sound overly noteworthy.
Jessie tends to go after Poison-types, and snakes.
James goes for Grass-types that hurt him.
