What is it?
ROGUES GALLERY is a Private Roleplay Hub. Essentially, a pool of players with pre-existing characters from which participants can be drawn to join Private Roleplays pertaining to their own self-invented superheroes and supervillains.
How Does it Work?
Members of the "ROGUES GALLERY" network of Roleplays may choose to have one or two characters with which to participate in roleplays - either one Superhero or Supervillain, one Superhero AND one Supervillain, or two of the same. As each roleplay is established, the GM (myself) will perform a random drawing of one Superhero and one Supervillain to be the Primary Characters in the specified Roleplay (though specific pairings can be requested as well). The two players will then be notified of their selection and the Registration process will begin. During this time-period, the Supervillain will formulate their "Plot" - after which they will inform the GM, who will then post the opening post of the Private Roleplay.
An individual Roleplay will "end" when either a.) the Villain successfully carries out their Plot or b.) the Hero successfully thwarts the Villain.

Official Rules
No 'Godmodding'
Don't give your character 'godlike' abilities, such as dodging every attack or 'by chance' stumbling onto whatever item he/she happens to need at that exact moment.
No 'Powerplaying'Don't control other players' characters or story elements. This includes 'auto-hits' - stating that an attack was successful (Though Auto-Hits are acceptable in the event of a 'Quick-Strike'). Any physical contact during confrontations should be confirmed by the recipient character's controlling-party.
Refrain From Excessive 'OOC' Comments'OOC' (Out-of-Character) comments should be kept to a minimum, as they tend to clog up the Roleplay. Try to keep these discussions in the Sign-Up Thread or designated OOC Thread for your particular Roleplay. If you feel your roleplay needs an OOC thread, request one.
Respect Your Fellow RoleplayersThis should go without saying, treat others with the same or greater respect as you would hope to gain from them.
Removing a CharacterIf you wish to remove one of your characters from the character-listing (to replace them with a new character, for instance) it is strongly suggested, for series continuity, that your character's absence be explained in-character (in a roleplay). This is not strictly required, but greatly appreciated.
InactivityIf a member of a roleplay has the opportunity to post (i.e. is not the most recent poster in their respective roleplay) for a period of ten days or more (without giving express notice to the GM), they are subject to involuntary forfeit at the GM's discretion. Need to notify me of an absence?
StalematesIn the event that both Hero and Villain in a roleplay incur some level of "victory," the GM may determine that the event ends in a "Stalemate." In such an event, both participants are deemed Victorious. Note that Stalemates may only be determined by the GM.
If You Have a Question...Current Characters

Anti-Heroes
Supervillains
Anti-Heroes
Anti-Heroes are essentially "neutral" characters, often motivated to do either good or evil depending entirely upon the context - and which will most likely serve to benefit them personally. As such, Anti-Hero characters may act as either Heroes or Villains in Plots interchangeably.

Quick-Strike
In each roleplay, all participating characters may use one "Quick-Strike." A Quick-Strike is essentially a single attack or other action which can be performed with the assumption of success (i.e. "powerplay"). For instance, you can say your character punched your opponent in the jaw, rather than saying he "attempted" to do so and waiting for your opponents response. Quick-Strikes adhere to a strict "3-Second-Rule" - i.e. the maneuver is limited to what is physically possible for your character to complete withing a three-second period of time.
Quick-Strikes can never be used with the intent of fatal consequences or severe injury, nor are they acceptable as "plot-finishers" (i.e. your Quick-Strike cannot be the sole cause of your victory in the roleplay).
