The countdown to Harley's debut in the dub (SPOILERS)

I doubt they'll go with naming him Hayley. Harry is a possibility, but I'd still shudder over it. I think they're either keep it, or change it to something entirely different. 4Kids has no problem with unisex names. ::coughTraceycough::

Wouldn't Harry technicly be correct anyway, because of the l/r sound thing? Personally, I've been calling him Harry since he premiered in Japan.

Harry was an incorrect romanization I came up with when I first reported about the episode from Japan. It should be "Harley."

I wouldn't be too bothered if he was Harry, though I hope he remains as Harley.

"Harry" would be ハリー (harii), while "Harley" is ハーリー (haarii).

My suggestion for Meno-Chan should be the direct translation of the line; Miss Tenta, because Meno-Chan would mean Miss Meno, and the story that Harley overheard was about May's secret fear of Tentacool (Menokurage).

Also, I'm suprised at how they will work around Harley for this, hopefully they don't "Pull a Hun" here and change a person who is clearly a man into a woman. But I bet the only thing they edit out of him, is the butt scene at the Grand Festival (na na na na..nyaaaa..nyaaaa!).

Ok, I see now. they are still pronounced the same though. I prefer Harry, Harley, regardless of whether or not it's considered genderless, seems more like a girls name to me. (maybe that's why they picked it? O_O)
