In my mind I read it as Pokédollars, but if I'm speaking out loud I'll go between calling it that and Poké, just because Poké is easier to say.
 
I say Poke for MD. For everything else, there's Mastercard.

All joking aside, I say dollars for main series games.
 
Pokédollars, it just seems to fit imho, plus chuggaaconroy says that and it just sort of stuck in my head.
 
Heh. I always thought that with such high prices, it must be something equivalent to Yen. Indeed, it's Yen in the Japanese versions. (Read: I'm calling these Yen except in PMD)

By the way, what symbol did they use in Korean versions?
 
It's obviously supposed to be the same value as yen, but i call them "pounds" anyway cause im form northern ireland.
